BIOCOMPATIBLE ELECTROMECHANICAL CONNECTION FOR CERAMIC SUBSTRATE ELECTRONICS FOR BIOMEDICAL IMPLANT
A biocompatible electrical connection includes a substrate; a ferrule having a concentric flange at a first end of the ferrule; a first adhesive; and a second adhesive. The first adhesive adheres a first surface of the concentric flange of the ferrule to a surface of the substrate. The second adhesive fills an annular space between a hole in the substrate and the ferrule. The first adhesive or the second adhesive forms a conductive path on the surface of the substrate between the ferrule and a circuit pattern on the substrate.

METHOD FOR ENERGY DISTRIBUTION IN A SURGICAL MODULAR ENERGY SYSTEM
A method of operating a modular surgical system including a control module, a first surgical module, and a second surgical module is disclosed. The method includes detachably connecting the first surgical module to the control module by stacking the first surgical module with the control module in a stack configuration, detachably connecting the second surgical module to the first surgical module by stacking the second surgical module with the control module and the first surgical module in the stack configuration, powering up the modular surgical system, and monitoring distribution of power from a power supply of the control module to the first surgical module and the second surgical module.
Electrical connector with USB series a contact pad pitch
A male connector (100) includes a contact pad substrate (101) and a connector shell (102). The contact pad substrate (101) includes a linear array of contact pads (103a, 103b, 103c, 103d) that are adapted for aligning with corresponding contacts (103′a, 103′b, 103′c, 103′d) of a contact-bearing tongue (104′) of a corresponding female connector (100′) that conforms to a USB Series A receptacle contact pad pitch specification. The two outermost contact pads (103a, 103d) of the linear array are electrically connected together. The connector shell (102) is formed from an insulating material and comprises a tubular portion (102a) for insertion into the corresponding female connector (100′), and a handling portion (102b) for handling during insertion.
Device and method for sensing signals from a body
A kit for transmitting and sensing signals comprises: a multi-connection cable having a plurality of cable connectors at a distal end of the cable for establishing electrical communication between each of the cable connectors and a system for measuring bioimpedance that is connectable to a proximal end of the cable, and a plurality of devices for transmitting and sensing signals. Each device comprises a non-conductive substrate adherable to a skin of a subject, a first and a second electrical contacts printed on the substrate, and a disposable connector. Each disposable connector is connectable to a compatible cable connector of the cable in a manner that a combined thickness of the disposable connector and the compatible cable connector, once connected, is less than 4 mm.
Endoscope device and cable assembly thereof
An endoscope device and a cable assembly thereof are provided. The cable assembly includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a wire. The first substrate includes a first body and a first solder pad disposed on the first body. The second substrate is correspondingly disposed on the first substrate and includes a second body, a second solder pad disposed on the second body and corresponding to the first solder pad, and an accommodating portion corresponding to the second solder pad. The wire includes a soldering portion disposed in the accommodating portion. The first solder pad and the second solder pad are coupled to each other by at least one of a first solder and a second solder, and the soldering portion and the second solder pad are coupled to each other by the first solder.
Configurable electrosurgical generator housing
A configurable electrosurgical generator front panel. The configurable electrosurgical generator front panel has a front panel frame, a display screen or tablet computing device, and a plurality of connectors for connecting accessories to the front panel frame. The front panel in the front panel assembly provides a novel structure for inserting a screen or tablet device into the front panel frame and securing it in place.
Contacting method and system
One aspect is a system for reception or emission of an electrical signal from or into the human or animal body, comprising at least one insulated electrical conductor; a sleeve-shaped electrode that is electrically connected to the electrical conductor and includes an internal side, an external side, and a channel, wherein the channel defines a longitudinal axis along which the conductor is arranged. According to one embodiment, the conductor extends without interruption along the entire area of the electrode, and the electrode further includes a slit that extends from the internal side to the external side of the electrode and in which the conductor is appropriately arranged in the slit such that the electrode forms a direct durable mechanical and electrical connection to the conductor.
Medical electrode connector for printed lead wires
A clip assembly for attaching an electrical lead to a medical electrode. The clip assembly has opposing jaws that can be selectively clipped onto a medical electrode. The jaws are opened and closed using handles. A receptacle is disposed in one handle for receiving the electrical lead. Within the receptacle, the electrical lead makes contact with a shaped conductor. The shaped conductor extends into a jaw and contacts the medical electrode. A clamp is integrated into the handle. The clamp is used to selectively press the electrical lead against the shaped conductor in the receptacle. The clamp can be manually tightened and loosened. As such, the electrical lead can be readily attached to, and disconnected from, the clip assembly as needed.
