Retainer for retaining accessory plug and cable to a portable communication device
A retainer includes a main body having a top wall, a first side wall, a second side wall spaced opposite the first side wall, a front wall, and a rear wall spaced opposite the front wall along a longitudinal axis. The walls define an interior cavity sized and shaped to receive an accessory plug. The front wall defines a front opening that extends into the interior cavity and is sized and shaped to receive a portion of a cable. The front wall also includes a first hook and a second hook each positioned below the front opening. The rear wall includes a third hook extending forward into the interior cavity. The retainer is moved forward linearly, and parallel to the longitudinal axis, to secure the hooks to a portable communications device.
SIGNAL TRANSMISSION LINE AND ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR INCLUDING ELECTRICALLY THIN RESISTIVE LAYER AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A signal transmission line or an electrical connector includes an inner electrical conductor, an outer electrical conductor, a dielectric region between the inner electrical conductor and the outer electrical conductor, and an electrically thin resistive layer within the dielectric region and concentric with the inner electrical conductor and the outer electrical conductor. The electrically thin resistive layer is a resistive layer configured to be transparent to a substantially transverse-electromagnetic (TEM) mode of transmission, while absorbing higher order modes of transmission.
Ganged coaxial connector assembly with AISG signal path
A ganged connector assembly includes: a housing; a plurality of first coaxial connectors mounted in the housing; a plurality of first coaxial cables, each attached to a respective one of the plurality of first coaxial connectors; and a second coaxial cable electrically connected with a first one of the first coaxial connectors, the second coaxial cable configured to transmit AISG signals to the first one of the first coaxial connectors.
Techniques For Integrating Wireless Functionality In A Power Outlet
A power control device is contained within a housing and has an electric current sensor configured to measure current passing through an electric outlet during a time period, a proximity sensor configured to detect a distance of an object relative to the electric outlet during the time period, a relay switch that can open or close to stop or conduct current through a circuit in the electric outlet in response to a command, and a wireless network interface in communication with the electric current sensor and the proximity sensor, the wireless network interface configured to transmit and receive data from the current sensor and the proximity sensor, to transmit commands to the relay switch, transmit the data to a computing device, and receive commands from the computing device.
WATERPROOF RETENTION LOCKING MECHANISM FOR CITIZEN'S BAND RADIO DEVICE
This disclosure is a locking mechanism system that provides for a watertight seal that is capable of retaining connection when exposed to external forces. The system comprises a connecting assembly, having a connector body, a collar, a seal, and a connector plug. The collar, may be positioned around the connector body and includes a rotation portion, an engagement portion, and a plurality of flanges, wherein the collar is configured to at least partially rotate around the connector body. The seal is coupled to the connector body, and the connector plug is coupled to the seal. The receiving assembly may include an input device receptacle, which includes retention flanges, a gasket, and a receiving receptacle. In response to rotation of the collar, the retention flanges interlock with the collar's flanges and the engagement portion is cinched into the input device receptacle to form a lasting, waterproof connection.
RADIO FREQUENCY CONNECTOR AND RADIO FREQUENCY CONNECTION DEVICE
The present disclosure provides a radio frequency connector. The radio frequency connector is configured to connect a radio frequency cable. The radio frequency cable includes a core wire and a metal covering layer insulated to each other. The radio frequency connector includes a first main body, a second main body, and an insulating body. The first main body includes a first accommodating space and a first opening. The first opening allows a first solder to enter the first accommodating space to contact the core wire so as to electrically connect the core wire and the first main body. The second main body includes a second accommodating space and a second opening. The second opening allows a second solder to enter the second accommodating space to contact the metal covering layer so as to electrically connect the metal covering layer and the second main body.
Vehicle Slide Mount For Multiple Components
The embodiment of the invention provides a combination bracket and electrical connector assembly for plural components for removable installation into a vehicle. The combination includes a bracket assembly that surrounds two or more stacked components, holding the components together. An upper connector assembly has a first housing and a bottom open face and has plural first connecting elements mounted into the first housing, the upper connecting assembly arranged for mounting onto a vehicle surface. A lower connector assembly has a second housing and a top open face and is arranged for mounting onto the bracket assembly, the lower connector assembly having plural second connecting elements mounted into the second housing. The plural first connecting elements arranged to automatically engage the plural second connecting elements when the lower connector assembly is slid under the upper connector assembly.
CYLINDRICAL CONTACT AND A HIGH DENSITY MULTI-CONTACT RF CONNECTOR COMPRISING MEANS FOR EASY AND QUICK INSTALLING/REMOVING WITH LOCKING EACH CONTACT IN ITS INSTALLED POSITION
The present application relates to a cylindrical contact which design allows it to be locked both longitudinally by a retention plate integral with or fixed onto a multi-contact connector housing and in rotation by a comb inserted and also fixed onto said housing.
