The invention relates to a motor vehicle with on-board electronics and an in-vehicle electronic receptacle unit for a portable communications device that is electrically connected to the on-board electronics, wherein the receptacle unit has at least one separate receptacle space that is designed to individually receive a function module in a state separated from the communications device, whereby the function module is reversibly separable from the communications device and can be reattached, and being designed for electrically coupling the separate function module to the on-board electronics to perform the intended function of the function module.

CONNECTOR DEVICE

A motor case (10) has connectors (30) fixed at motor case mounting holes (11), and an inverter case (50) has connectors (60) radially movable at inverter case mounting holes (65). The inverter case (50) is mounted on the motor case (10) so that the connectors (30, 60) fit together. A surface seal (45) is disposed on a lower surface of a flange (42) at an outer periphery of a housing (35) of the motor-side connectors (30), and is compressed elastically against an upper surface of the motor case (10) at an outer periphery of the motor case mounting holes (11). A metal pressing member (20) is fixed on the motor case (10) and presses the flange (42). An axial seal (47) is fit on the outer periphery of the housing (35) and is compressed elastically between the outer periphery and an inner periphery of the second mounting hole (65).

CONNECTOR DEVICE

A connector device includes a motor-side connector 30 including a motor-side terminal 31, an inverter-side connector 60 including an inverter-side terminal 70, a motor case 10 including the motor-side connector 30, and an inverter case 50 including the inverter-side connector 60, the connectors 30, 60 being fitted together when the inverter case 50 is stacked on and fastened to the motor case 10 using bolts 120. When the fastening of the cases 10, 50 is completed, a predetermined gap is ensured between opposing surfaces 36B, 80A of the connectors 30, 60.

SHEATHED WIRE HARNESS

A sheathed wire harness includes connectors to be fitted to counterpart connectors, electric wires connected to the connectors, and a fibrous resin cloth that is connected to the electric wires and surrounds the electric wires. The resin cloth includes a cover portion that can be moved to a closed position in which portions of the electric wires near the connectors are covered, and moved to an open position in which the portions of the electric wires near the connectors are exposed.

A receptacle assembly includes a receptacle housing, a housing opening, a first receptacle connector, and a second receptacle connector. The receptacle housing includes a first cavity that extends from a first end to a central structure. The housing opening is defined at the first end. The first cavity and the housing opening are sized and shaped to enable insertion of a plug assembly constructed to comply with the Society of Automotive Engineers J2863 standard. The first receptacle connector includes a first portion that extends from the central structure into the first cavity. The second receptacle connector includes a second portion that extends from the central structure into the first cavity. The first and the second receptacle connectors are sized and are disposed such that they are configured to both be inserted into a single connector cavity of the plug assembly and such that they are electrically insulated from one another.

ILLUMINATION MODULE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

An illumination module for a motor vehicle that includes at least one organic electroluminescent diode capable of being received in a support equipped with means for connecting same to a device for supplying electrical power and/or controlling a lighting and/or signaling assembly of the vehicle. The support has at least one connection bar formed in a flexible base material impregnated with conducting material, arranged in layers.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION BOX AND WIRE HARNESS

An electrical connection box applied to a wire harness includes a casing that includes an accommodating space that is formed therein and that accommodates an electronic component, and a guiding space that is partitioned horizontally lateral to the accommodating space therein via a partition wall, and that extends in a vertical direction and guides water entered therein to a vertically downside. The casing includes a water-preventing rib that is provided in the guiding space, and that guides water guided to the vertically downside in the guiding space, in a direction of avoiding from an avoidance target portion that is positioned vertically below the guiding space.
