LAYERED CONTROL PANEL DESIGN TO PROVIDE SEPARATION OF HIGH/LOW VOLTAGE
A layered control panel for a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVACR) unit includes an outer layer on which low-voltage components are placed, and an inner layer on which high-voltage components are placed. The outer layer is capable of taking a closed position where it blocks access to the inner layer, and an open position where the outer layer does not block access to the inner layer. The outer layer can include a lock to keep the outer layer in the closed position. The outer layer can be one or two or more panels mounted on hinges that allow the outer layer to swing between closed and open positions.

BUS BAR SYSTEM WITH AT LEAST ONE BUS BAR HELD IN A CONTACT PROTECTION HOUSING
A bus bar system having at least one bus bar which is accommodated in a contact-protection housing in a contact-protection manner and in an accessible manner via contacting passages for electrical devices and/or device adapters, the contact-protection housing having a lower part and an upper part which is detachably fixed on the lower part and between which the at least one bus bar is held, wherein the upper part has, on its side facing the lower part, a plurality of plug-in receptacles extending from the latter into the lower part, and the lower part has at least one slide with at least one latching pawl which can be adjusted between a locking position, in which the at least one latching pawl engages in the plug-in receptacle, and a release position, in which the at least one latching pawl is positioned in front of the plug-in receptacle. A corresponding method is further described.
MULTI-FUNCTION CABINET
A multi-function cabinet housing electrical equipment. The multi-function cabinet has four compartments. Each compartment is configured to house a different type of electrical equipment. The electrical equipment may be high-voltage electrical metering and distribution components, high-voltage control electronics, battery backup, wireways, low-voltage electronics, or a combination thereof. The multi-function cabinet contains wireways. The compartments of the multifunction cabinet are accessible using doors, which are fastened by locks. The cabinet contains a ventilation system with fans, vents, and filters.

An electrical power distribution system that includes a hollow body with at least one seamless insulated bus bar on top of a non-energized metal mounting surface. A plurality of connection points are distributed along the bus bar for electrical device connections. The connection points are contained inside molded plastic louvers and are electrically connected to the main bus bar. Electrical device connections are accomplished via plugging directly onto the electrical connection points while the plastic louvers recede from around the bus bar. The attachment of electrical devices of various sizes and configurations may be accommodated though varying the pitch and size of the electrical connection points.

Electrical panelboard guard with coupled members
Disclosed herein is a panelboard guard assembly configured to restrict access to a panelboard having a cover and a door defined therein, the cover having first and second side edges. The panelboard guard assembly includes overlapping members that are, at least in some implementations, mutually coupled to each other. The panelboard guard assembly further includes an adjustment mechanism that extends between and couples the members together, the adjustment mechanism facilitating adjustment of the distance between the outer ends of the members.
