Conductor system for use in a dielectric

A conductor system for use in a surrounding dielectric has a first member with a first conductive surface having a first edge and arranged to be in contact with the surrounding dielectric; a second member arranged such that there is a gap between the first member and the second member at the first edge; and a protector arranged to be partially held in the gap by elastic forces in the protector and having a conductive protector surface arranged to be pressed against the first edge by the elastic forces and arranged to protrude out of the gap on the side of the first member.

Power terminal enclosure for power conductors

A power terminal enclosure may be used to provide power conductors (power terminals) across electrical isolation boundaries while providing electrical short-circuit protections. The power terminal enclosure may be a single article molded from an electrically insulating material. The power terminal enclosure may also be dimensioned to provide sufficient separation distance between other power terminal enclosures for a given maximum voltage of a power conductor (power terminal) so that power conductors enclosed by the power terminal enclosures are properly spaced apart with a minimum separate distance. The power terminal enclosure may also include a mechanical retention mechanism, such as a snap-fit retention area, for mating with a power conductor enclosed by the power terminal enclosure. The power terminal enclosure may partially pass through an opening in an isolation barrier (such as a wall and/or plate), with the power conductor passing through the power terminal enclosure.

Conductor assembly for power distribution equipment

A conductor assembly for establishing a connection to a power distribution unit is disclosed. The conductor assembly includes one or more conductors have a conductive rod. Each end of the conductive rod has an end forming a ball member. The conductor assembly also includes a connector having a clamp mechanism to receive the ball member of the conductive rod. A fastener threadably couples with a conductor on power distribution unit to rigidly secure the conductor assembly to the electrical equipment units.

Switchgear includes a duct by which inside portions of a plurality of cable compartments are linked each other; and a gas flow direction restriction device by which high-pressure gas is flowed only in a predetermined direction in the duct when the high-pressure gas is generated at the inside of any of the cable compartments in the plurality of cable compartments; in which the high-pressure gas can be ejected from a predetermined portion of the switchgear to the outside without increasing outer dimensions of the switchgear in accordance with an internal fault in the cable compartments.

USE OF GROUND PROTECTION OF ENERGY REDUCING MAINTENANCE SWITCH (ERMS) FOR PROTECTING CONTROLGEARS
20250141215 · 2025-05-01 · ·

A ground protection of an energy reducing maintenance switch (ERMS) system for protecting controlgears. The ground protection of the ERMS system includes a feeder, one or more controlgears operatively connected to the feeder, one or more microprocessor protection relays operatively connected to the one or more circuit breakers and the one or more controlgears. The feeder comprises one or more switchgears including a low voltage (LV) switchgear and a medium voltage (MV) switchgear, one or more circuit breakers operatively connected to the one or more switchgears, one or more transformers operatively connected to the one or more circuit breakers, and one or more boosters operatively connected to the LV switchgear. The one or more microprocessor protection relays comprises a built-in ERMS with ground protection which is activated during pre-flashover phase in the one or more controlgears to interrupt power to the one or more controlgears before any flashover occurs.

Busway connection through exterior wall

A modular data center includes an outer wall having an opening formed therein. The opening is configured to enable a busway to pass through the outer wall. The modular data center further includes an electrical box configured to be coupled to the busway. The electrical box is positioned inboard with respect to the outer wall. The modular data center further includes a shroud configured to extend through the opening of the outer wall. The shroud includes a plurality of outer edges coupled to an outer surface of the outer wall. The modular data center further includes a cover, including a cover opening, configured to enable the busway to pass through the cover opening, and to at least partially seal the opening of the outer wall having the busway passing therethrough.
