A cutting head for a hydraulic power tool includes a first jaw that includes a first ear configured with a slot for receiving a corresponding ear. The second jaw includes a second ear with a third ear bore that aligns in between a first ear bore and to a second ear bore of the first ear when the second ear is coupled in the slot of the first ear. The cutting head further includes a spring-biased flange coupled to a blade mounted to the first jaw and a retained coupled at a fixed position to a blade mounted to the second jaw. The retainer is configured to receive the flange during a cutting action such that the flange prevents the blades from shifting out of alignment during the cutting action.

An axial direction moving mechanism has a function of moving the rotary head and the cable holding mechanism relative to each other in an axial direction of the rotation shaft, positions a blade edge of the peeling cutter and the cutting cutter in the axial direction with respect to the cable by moving and stopping, and peels the coating on a tip end side by moving the rotary head and the cable holding mechanism in a direction away from each other in a state where the blade edge of the peeling cutter is cut into the coating of the terminal portion of the cable.

Tools for operating on an object, such as a wire or cable are provided. The tool includes a housing and a working head assembly. The working head assembly has a movable section and fixed section secured to the housing. The movable section has a first end movably secured to a first end of the fixed section. The movable section has a second end that is releasably secured to a second end of the fixed section using a latch pin. The working head assembly also includes a latch pin stop that is positioned in the second end of the movable section. The latch pin stop is configured to prevent the latch pin from releasably securing the movable section to the fixed section until the movable section is properly aligned with the fixed section.

A system (1) for spiking, i.e. exploring voltage, in electric cables (5) comprises a first clamping jaw (3) and a second clamping jaw (4) to lock a portion of an electric cable (5) in a clamping position (7), an elongated metal blade (8) which can be displaced between a retracted position and an extended position in the clamping position (7), a hydraulic actuator (9) to displace the blade (8), with respect to the first and second clamping jaws (3, 4), from the retracted position into the extended position, a pump (10) adapted to increase the pressure of a hydraulic liquid acting on the hydraulic actuator (9), a hand-held remote control (12) for remotely actuating and controlling the pump (10), wireless actuation communication means (13) adapted to provide pump actuation signals from the remote control (12) to the pump (10).

A device for assembling an electrical plan connector on a first cable end and/or on a second cable end of an electrical cable having one or more inner conductors. The device has at least two independent processing modules for processing the electrical cable. The device also has a common transport unit for transporting the electrical cable between at least two of the processing modules along a transport direction.

A hot stick accessory with an attachment interface engageable with multiple types of attachment interfaces, including a shotgun-type attachment interface and a universal-type attachment interface. A system for servicing cable includes a field-end assembly and a live-end assembly, each mounted on a support structure having at least one drive mechanism operable to cause relative linear movement between the field-end assembly and the live-end assembly.
