An electrical stripping and cutting tool has first and second elongated members. The second elongated member is joined to the first elongated member such that the first and second elongated members are pivotable about a laterally extending pivot axis relative to each other. First and second face plates are attached to distal ends of the first and second elongated members. The first and second face plates are oriented substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the first and second elongated members. In a closed position of the electrical cable stripping and cutting tool, the first and second face plates collectively form a single flat face plate. At least one first side pair of cutting members is formed on a first side of the first and second face plates. At least one second side pair of cutting members is formed on a second side of the first and second face plates.

A cutting head for a hydraulic power tool includes a first jaw that includes a first ear configured with a slot for receiving a corresponding ear. The second jaw includes a second ear with a third ear bore that aligns in between a first ear bore and to a second ear bore of the first ear when the second ear is coupled in the slot of the first ear. The cutting head further includes a spring-biased flange coupled to a blade mounted to the first jaw and a retained coupled at a fixed position to a blade mounted to the second jaw. The retainer is configured to receive the flange during a cutting action such that the flange prevents the blades from shifting out of alignment during the cutting action.

A binding machine includes a wire feeding unit configured to feed a wire to be wound on an object to be bound, a cutting unit configured to cut the wire wound on the object to be bound, and a binding unit configured to twist the wire wound on the object to be bound. The cutting unit includes a pair of blade parts configured to interpose the wire therebetween and cut the wire. One or both of the pair of blade parts include a delay part which is configured to delay cutting a part of the wire as compared to a remaining part of the wire.

Plies have a first and a second plier limb which are rotatably held relative to one another on an axis of rotation an articulation region and form a jaw region on one side of the articulation region and handle sections on the other side of the articulation region. The jaw region has a cutting pattern with first and second cutting edges which, in the closed position of the pliers, are crossed with respect to a shear plane and which have a central plane running through the axis of rotation, perpendicularly to the shear plane in the closed position. The cutting edges are crossed to a greater degree in a region remote from the articulation, in the opening direction of the pliers, than in a region closer to the articulation.

A cable recovery machine, comprising at least one traction module configured to hold and draw at least one cable, in particular of a cable laying plant; the traction module comprises a frame on which one or more traction wheels and one or more idle wheels are positioned; between the traction wheels and the idle wheels a space is defined for the passage and traction of the cable to be recovered; the idle wheels are provided with a support connected in a mobile manner to the frame of the traction module and provided with actuators configured to press the idle wheels against the cable that passes between them and the traction wheels, so that the space between the idle wheels and the traction wheels can be automatically adjusted on the basis of the external diameter (D1, D2) or thickness of the cable drawn.

A machine forms a whip from a length of cable. The machine includes a clamping assembly, a notching assembly, and a cutting assembly. The clamping assembly includes a pad which can be move into and out of a cable travel space. The notching assembly includes a notching saw which cuts an outer jacket of the cable in a direction substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis. Movement of the pad also causes movement of the notching saw to move into the cable travel space or into a raised position. The cutting assembly includes a cutting tool which transversely cuts the conductors of the cable.

A conductor trimmer may be provided. The conductor trimmer may comprise a grip and a trimmer. The grip may comprise a grip handle and a trimmer groove. The trimmer may comprise a trimmer handle. The trimmer may be configured to engage the trimmer groove. With trimmer snuggly attached to both the grip and a conductor, the trimmer may be rotated about conductor by a user holding the grip handle stationary and rotating the trimmer by the trimmer handle. As the trimmer rotates about the conductor, a first roller rail and a second roller rail may ride in the trimmer groove as a blade cuts layers of strands from the conductor.

Embodiments disclosed herein include devices and methods for securely clipping the tip of an electrical wire. The wire tip clipping tool may include an opening and closing mechanism, and a member coupled to the opening and closing mechanism. The member can include a top portion and a bottom portion moveably coupled such that an opening is formed between the top portion and bottom for receiving at least a portion of an electrical wire inserted into the opening. The top portion and bottom portion may move towards each other, with respect to movement of the opening and closing mechanism, to a closed position for clipping the received portion of the electrical wire, restricting movement of the electrical wire and preventing conductive contact with the received portion of the electrical wire.

An electric spinning pliers apparatus includes a housing, a plier head coupled to a rotatable shaft, and a head-operating handle. The housing may have a wire sleeve stripper, an iris door, one or more controls, and an indicator light. The electric spinning pliers apparatus utilizes the wire sleeve stripper to cut an outer sleeve of a group of wires, exposing individual wires. Each individual wire may be stripped by the iris door, while the plier head may grasp and rotate, via a motor, each of the individual wires into a single unit. The plier head may then twist a wire nut on the twisted wires.
