APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING WIRE BEHIND EXISTING WALLS
20210351578 · 2021-11-11 ·

A system for pulling wire behind a wall is provided. One embodiment comprises a cylindrical weight defined by an outside diameter and a first length, and a tubular body with a hollow interior defined by an inside diameter that is greater than the outside diameter of the cylindrical weight and a second length that is greater than the first length. A distal end of the tubular body includes a tip configured to penetrate a material that is behind the wall, wherein when oriented in a vertical position behind the wall, and wherein in response to drawing the cylindrical weight upward through the tubular body and then releasing the cylindrical weight, the cylindrical weight travels downward towards the distal end of the tubular body and impacts the tip such that momentum of the downward travelling cylindrical weight is transferred to the tip, thereby driving the tubular body downward through the material.

DISPLAY DEVICE

Disclosed is a display device. The display device of the present disclosure includes: a rail which extends long; a moving wall which extends long in a direction intersecting the rail and has a display panel; and a rod which is positioned between the rail and the moving wall; wherein one end of the rod is coupled to the rail to be movable in a length direction of the rail, and the other end of the rod is fixed to the moving wall, wherein the moving wall is movable in the length direction of the rail.

Workstation with cable management system

A cable management apparatus can include a first surface configured for working and a second surface having a channel integrally formed into the apparatus material at the second surface. The channel can have sidewalls, extend longitudinally in a direction parallel to the second surface, have a longitudinal channel opening at the second surface along a substantial portion of the channel, and can be configured to hold a cable therein even when the channel opening faces downward. The cable may be curved within the channel to create elastic potential energy in the cable, and a friction force between the curved cable pushing against the channel sidewalls can hold the cable in place within the channel. The channel may form a cross-section having an undercut that is defined by ledge portions at the channel opening, and the ledge portions can hold the cable in place within the channel.

Roof sensor module and motor vehicle

A roof sensor module having a panel component which forms at least sections of a roof cladding of a vehicle roof, the roof cladding functioning as an outer sealing surface of the roof sensor module, at least one environment sensor for charting a vehicle environment which is connected to at least one cable, and at least one channel-shaped carrier structure. The at least one cable is guided along the channel-shaped carrier structure within a hollow cross section thereof and/or an in particular channel-shaped guide profile is formed at the channel-shaped carrier structure, the at least one cable being guided along the channel-shaped guide profile.

SENSING AND COMMUNICATIONS UNIT FOR OPTICALLY SWITCHABLE WINDOW SYSTEMS

A high-speed data communications network in or on a building includes a plurality of trunk line segments serially coupled to each other by a plurality of passive circuits configured to deliver signals to, and to receive signals from, one or more devices on, in, or outside the building, wherein the signals comprise data having a greater than 1 Gpbs transmission rate.
