A coupling element for electrically coupling a lateral connecting portion of a first laminated busbar to a lateral connecting portion of a second laminated busbar, the coupling element having a base body that includes a sandwich of conducting layers of sheet metal and intermediate insulating layers arranged in between the conducting layers for electrically insulating the conducting layers from each other. Each of the conducting layers includes a first layer section that is associated to the lateral connecting portion of the first busbar and a second layer section that is associated to the connecting portion of the second busbar. The first and second layer sections are electrically insulated from each other by an insulating element and each of the first layer sections includes a first circuit breaker connecting terminal that is adapted to be electrically connected to an input terminal of a circuit breaker.

It is achieved that a plurality of connecting rods are simultaneously mounted to busbars and that two busbars are connected in a form of butt-and-butt connecting.

Electrically insulative fastener receptacles extend from the busbar cover, each fastener receptacle being sized to receive therein a fastener assembly, each fastener receptacle defining therein a first opening at a first end distal the busbar cover and a second opening at a second end proximal the busbar cover, the first opening being sized to permit insertion therethrough of a tool to turn a fastener assembly, the first opening being further sized to prevent insertion therethrough of a finger of a human. Electrically insulative retaining tabs extend into an interior of each of the fastener receptacles intermediate the first opening and the second opening.

Joint puller for busway assembly

A joint puller includes an arm having a first arm end and a second arm end, and a lever having a first lever end and a second lever end. The first arm end is configured to be pivotally connected to a first busway section, and the second lever end is configured to be pivotally connected to a second busway section. The first lever end is pivotally connected to the arm at a location spaced from the first arm end. The joint puller further includes a stopper extending from the lever at a location spaced from the first lever end. The stopper contacts the arm when the arm is pivoted to a predetermined angle with respect to the lever.

The first and second connection busbars are inserted into the first and second connection units, respectively, such that the power pack and the capacitor pack are electrically connected to each other.
