A relay is provided with a housing, a coil arranged inside the housing, a fixed terminal, and a movable member. The housing is filled with an insulating liquid refrigerant, and the coil and the movable member are immersed in the liquid refrigerant, and at least a fixed contact of the fixed terminal is immersed in the liquid refrigerant. Heat generated in the coil, the movable member, and the fixed terminal is cooled by the liquid refrigerant, and thus the efficiency of cooling the relay is improved.

The invention relates to a system, including a bus bar device and a power converter housing, wherein the bus bar device includes a stack made of at least two bus bars and an electrically insulating insulation body, which encloses the bus bars in two insulating regions of the bus bar device, wherein each bus bar includes two opposing base surfaces extending in the direction of current flow and lateral surfaces connecting the base surfaces and extending in the direction of current flow, wherein the bus bar device includes a temperature control region formed between the insulating regions, in which the insulation body has an opening that exposes one of the lateral surfaces and a portion of at least one of the base surfaces of a respective bus bar, wherein the bus bars are thermally connected to the power converter housing in the temperature control region by a heat transfer means.

A propulsion system for an aircraft includes an electric power source, an electric propulsor assembly having an electric motor and a propulsor configured to generate thrust for the aircraft, and a power bus electrically connecting the electric power source to the electric propulsor assembly such that the electric power source powers the electric propulsor assembly. The power bus includes an electric line and a fluid cooling system, the fluid cooling system extending along at least a portion of a length of the electric line. The fluid cooling system is in thermal communication with the electric line for cooling the electric line during operation and is further in thermal communication with the electric motor of the electric propulsor assembly for cooling the electric motor of the electric propulsor assembly.

The power bus includes an electric line and a fluid cooling system, the fluid cooling system extending along at least a portion of a length of the electric line. The fluid cooling system is in thermal communication with the electric line for cooling the electric line during operation and is further in thermal communication with the electric motor of the electric propulsor assembly for cooling the electric motor of the electric propulsor assembly.

This power device is provided as a highly reliable power device, which is used in an AC power system and does not induce an excessive voltage in the power generation unit when the power device unit is stopped in the state where the energized state of the energizing conductor is maintained.

The invention relates to a device for holding and fastening a bus bar (1) to a substrate (2), in particular to a metallic housing (10), having: a metallic supporting body (3) for supporting the bus bar (1) on the substrate (2), a thermally conductive and electrically insulating intermediate layer (4) for arrangement between the supporting body (3) and the substrate (2), a holding element (6) which can be fixed to the substrate (2) with the aid of a fastener (5), and a clamping and/or resilient element (7) for applying a preloading force to the supporting body (3) in the direction of the substrate (2) directly or indirectly via the holding element (6).
The invention also relates to a metallic housing (10) having a device according to the invention.
