BRACKET FOR POWER TRANSMISSION POLES AND A METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME
The present invention discloses a bracket (1) with enhanced loadbearing capacity for power transmission poles wherein protrusions (52) extending from loadbearing plates (12, 13) are inserted into horizontal and parallel slots made in the base plate (11), and protrusions (52) are bent behind the base plate (11). After insertion and bending, protrusions (52) portion of loadbearing plates (12, 13) are secured by welding on both sides namely the front and rear of the base plate (11). The bending of protrusions of loadbearing plates (12, 13) behind the base plate (11) and welding it on both sides considerably improve the strength of the joint, and thus the loadbearing capacity of the bracket is significantly enhanced.

Clamp-type Line Post Insulator
A clamp-type line post insulator is disclosed. The clamp-type line insulator is provided with a thread clamping device, and comprises: a body, a cable clamp, an insulation unit and an adjustable fixing unit. In the present invention, the body comprises: a receiving recess, a fixing base and a cable groove. Moreover, a pivoting end of the cable clamp pivotally connected to a pivot member that is formed on the fixing base. Particularly, after placing an electrical cable in the cable groove, the cable clamp is rotated by taking the pivot member as an axle center, thereby inserting an engaging end of the cable clamp into the engagement groove to engage with it. By such arrangements, the electrical cable be pressed and fixed in the cable groove by rotating the adjustable fixing unit.
CABLE SUPPORT TIE
A support device for supporting a cable includes a central support portion having a first side and a second side. The support device also includes a first leg portion extending between a first end and a second end, the first leg portion having a first helical winding. The support device also includes a second leg portion extending between a third end and a fourth end, the second leg portion having a second helical winding. The support device further includes a hanger portion attached to the central support portion. The hanger portion includes structure that cooperates with an associated attachment structure. The first leg portion is attached to the central support portion and the second leg portion is attached to the central support portion. The first helical winding and the second helical winding are configured to receive the cable.
WEDGE CLAMP AND STEEL WIRE
Provided is a wedge clamp for anchoring an end of a steel wire for further enhancement in workability upon use.
A wedge clamp 1 for retaining a steel wire includes a first member 12 having a wedge shape and a second member 11 slidably fitting the first member 12 to restrain a steel wire by a pressure that generates based on the wedge shape of the first member 12, the wedge clamp 1 including an engaging portion (protrusion 124 and anchoring portion 113) enabling slidable fit between the first member 12 and the second member 11 while engaging the first member 12 and the second member 11.
Cable storage devices and methods of use thereof
A cable storage device includes a first elongate bracket member attachable to a support structure and having a length extending between a first end and a second end. A second elongate bracket member is configured to be coupled to the first elongate bracket member proximate one of the first end or the second end such that the second elongate member extends in a different direction from the first elongate member when installed on the support structure. At least one set of a plurality of retaining mechanisms is configured to be coupled to the first and second elongate bracket members to receive and store a first cable. The at least one of the at least one set of the plurality of retaining mechanisms is adjustable along the first elongate bracket member or the second elongate bracket member. Methods of installing and making the cable storage device are also disclosed.

Electrical component cover
An electrical component cover includes a central portion, a first end portion and a second end portion and one or more flexible portions between the central portion and the first end portion or second end portion to enable the electrical component cover to flex and thereby facilitate varying geometries in power lines attached to insulators.
EDDY CURRENT ENERGY-DISSIPATING SPACER
An eddy current energy-dissipating spacer is mainly composed of a spacer frame, a conductor clamp and energy-dissipating elements. The eddy current energy-dissipating spacer not only provides the function of an ordinary spacer, but also reduces the vibration of the transmission lines; and at the same time, can effectively reduce the vibration of the transmission lines, especially the torsional vibration by adopting the eddy current and viscoelastic material for energy dissipation; improves the eddy current strength by adjusting the gear radius ratio, thus increasing the damping force; can adjust the damping parameters by adjusting the magnetic field strength of the permanent magnet; can produce long-term stable vibration reduction effect by adopting the permanent magnet to provide continuous magnetic field without additional external energy input; can effectively avoid the magnetic flux leakage of magnetic circuits by adopting the magnetic material.
INSULATOR HAVING AN END FITTING AND A CONNECTING DEVICE AS WELL AS ARRANGEMENT FOR DISSIPATING OVERVOLTAGE
An insulator includes an end fitting and a connecting device disposed on the end fitting for connecting the insulator to a suspension device. The insulator also includes an additional operating device. The end fitting and the connecting device are formed in one piece. An arrangement is also provided for dissipating overvoltage using the insulator according to the invention.
