Ground level primary electric distribution system

A ground level primary electrical distribution system deploys terrain mounted or essentially terrain flush pipes that protect suppress ignition from fires that may occur if components fail within the pipes. The pipes can be deployed in remote and rugged terrain where overhead power lines poses fire risks from wind damage and it is impractical and disruptive to bury the electricity conducting cable or deployed along roadways or field at ground level or essentially flush with the ground to avoid excavation yet avoid the use of overhead power lines that can be subject to damage from high wind. The pipes can follow the terrain between junctions over rigid segments formed by a plurality of end-to-end coupled enclosures, while the conductors are protected within jacketing or flow through flexible insulating and isolating conduits within the more rigid pipes.

POWER AND/OR DATA CONNECTIVITY TRACK SYSTEM

A track section for a track system is provided that includes an enclosed channel and first and second lateral members. The enclosed channel is defined by a base wall, a cover wall, and first and second lateral side walls, and has an interior cavity. The first and second lateral side walls are disposed on opposite sides of the enclosed channel. The base wall and the cover wall are spaced apart from one another and extend between the first and second lateral side walls. The first lateral member extends outward from the first lateral side wall and the second lateral member extends outward from the second lateral side wall. Each has a ramp flange channel. The track section is a unitary structure with the first and second lateral members being integral with the enclosed channel and has a length between first and second lengthwise ends.

CABLE HOUSING CONTAINER

Provided is a cable housing container that allows compaction to be reliably performed around a container body when the container body is buried. The cable housing container 1 includes a container body 10 provided with a bottom portion 11 and a pair of side wall portions 12 extending upward from both sides in a width direction of the bottom portion 11 and having an opening 10a formed on an upper surface thereof, the container body 10 being made of resin and being adapted to be buried in a ground. Each of the pair of side wall portions 12 of the container body 10 has, on its outer surface, an overhanging portion 14 that is formed on an upper portion of the outer surface and overhangs outward in the width direction of the container body 10 relative to a lower portion of the outer surface, and a plurality of reinforcing ribs 15 that are formed below the overhanging portion 14 and spaced apart from each other in a horizontal direction, each of the reinforcing ribs protruding outward in the width direction and extending in a top-bottom direction. The overhanging portion 14 has, on its lower portion, an inclined surface 14a formed in such a manner as to gradually downwardly decrease in an outward overhang amount in the width direction of the container body 10.

Expandable cord protector

A cord protector with an elongated body and a coupler that joins the elongated body to an adjacent elongated body to form an elongated cord protector system. The elongated body has a base and a lid. The base has a channel extending between a first end and a second end. The base also has ridges that extend into the channel, a cavity configured to mate with the coupler, and a central pillar that extends from the floor into the channel along a majority of the channel. The lid is configured to be inserted into the channel. The lid has two grooves that are sized and shaped to receive one of the ridges. The lid also has a slot configured to receive the top of the central pillar when the lid is inserted into the channel. The central pillar supports the lid when the lid is inserted into the channel.

An adjustable cable support member includes a first track defining first and second channels extending in a longitudinal direction thereof, and a second track at least partially slideably received within the first and second channels of the first track in the longitudinal direction for enabling adjustment of the overall length of the cable support member. The first track and the second track define a cable receiving space extending continuously in the longitudinal direction over the length of the cable support member.

Disconnect system for modular cable protectors
11476653 · 2022-10-18 ·

A disconnect system for modular cable protectors includes tool engagement features to facilitate disassembly of the side ramps from the center sections of the cable protectors using a hand tool. The tool is used to removably engage these tool engagement features to enable the user to exert an upward force to disengage the edge connectors and end connectors on the side ramps and center section of each cable protector. For example, the tool engagement features can be openings (e.g., slots or recesses) in the top surface of the side ramp with undercuts adjacent to the lower ends of the openings. A tool with vertical rods is manually inserted into the openings to disengage the side ramps. Horizontal projections at the bottom of the vertical rods engage the undercuts and allow the user to disengage the side ramps by lifting upward on the tool.

An auxiliary side ramp for use with modular cable protectors includes a number of tool engagement features. A tool can be used to removably engage these tool engagement features and allows a user to exert an upward force to disengage the edge connectors on adjacent auxiliary side ramps, and also disengage the auxiliary side ramp from the underlying cable protector. For example, the tool engagement features can be slots in the top surface of the auxiliary side ramp with undercuts adjacent to the lower ends of the slots. A tool with vertical rods is manually inserted into the slots to disengage the cable protectors. Horizontal projections at the bottom of the vertical rods engage the undercuts in the slots, and allow the user to disengage adjacent auxiliary side ramps by lifting upward on the tool.

RESIN CONTAINER AND WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
