STACKABLE DUCT-BANK STUB-UP ASSEMBLY
a duct-bank stub-up assembly includes a first pre-formed stub-up module that comprises a first plurality of conduits and a first encasing body. For each of the first conduits, a first end of the conduit provides a mating end on a mating side of the first encasing body and a second end of the conduit provides a mating end on a top surface of the first encasing body. The assembly further includes a second pre-formed stub-up module that comprises a second plurality of conduits and a second encasing body formed to have a stub-up section and a footer section. For each of the second conduits, a first conduit end provides a mating end on a mating side of the footer section and a second conduit end provides a mating end on a top surface of the stub-up section. The first module is positioned on the footer of the second module.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING ACCESS FOR TELECOMMUNICATION CABLES IN UTILITY PIPING
Cables, such as telecommunications cables, fiber cables, conduits, and the like, can be installed in existing pipe systems to avoid the need for trenches. However, to aid in keeping the cables out of the flow of the pipes of the pipe system, the cable or cables are positioned adjacent a wall of the pipe. To hold or otherwise secure the cables in place, aspects of CIPP pipe repair are used in place of mechanical fasteners. This can take many forms, including, but not limited to, curable resins, resin impregnated liners or liner straps, T-liners, gaskets, etc. The resin or resinous liners can be inflated towards the wall of the pipe to hold the cables in place between the curable resin and the wall of the pipe.
APPARATUS TO LIMIT EVENT ENERGY
An apparatus for limiting event energy in an underground structure having free space includes: an inner layer configured to envelope and seal an interior volume; an outer layer configured to envelope the inner layer; and, wherein the interior volume includes a volume-occupying material, having a solid material, a semi-solid material, a gaseous material, or any combination of the solid, the semi-solid, and the gaseous material.

CABLE HANG-OFF ARRANGEMENT
Provided is a cable hang-off arrangement configured for mounting at the level of an elevated platform of an offshore facility and includes a pipe configured to accommodate a number of protective tubes, wherein a protective tube is configured to accommodate a transmission cable of the offshore facility; a tube end flange arranged around an end portion of each protective tube; and a hang-off terminator configured for mounting at an end of the pipe, which hang-off terminator includes an end-plate with a number of apertures for the transmission cables, and a flange connection interface for connecting to the tube end flanges. An offshore facility, and a method of securing a transmission cable arrangement at the level of an elevated platform of an offshore facility are also provided.
Partial float weave fabric
An innerduct for a cable containing one or more strip-shaped lengths of woven textile fabric configured to create a flexible, longitudinal compartment for enveloping a cable. The woven fabric comprises a plurality warp yarns and a plurality of picks of weft yarns, the weft yarns contain a repeating first weft pattern of at least one monofilament yarn, at least one multiple-inserted multifilament yarn, and optionally at least one single-inserted multifilament yarn. The woven fabric contains an alternating pattern containing first weave zones and partial float weave zones. The warp yarns in the first weave zone pass successively over and under each adjacent weft yarn and at least a portion of the warp yarns in the partial float zone float over some adjacent weft yarns.

MICROTRENCHER HAVING A UTILITY AVOIDANCE SAFETY DEVICE AND METHOD OF MICROTRENCHING
Provided is a microtrencher having a utility avoidance system that detects objects buried under the roadway, identifies whether the buried object is a utility and determines whether the buried utility is in the path of the cutting wheel. If the buried utility is in the path of the cutting wheel, an alert is sent to the operator, the vehicle is stopped, and/or the cutting wheel is raised in relation to the roadway. Also provided is a method of using the microtrencher to cut a microtrench in a roadway and to avoid cutting a buried utility in the path of the cutting wheel.
