METHOD FOR ENCASING UNDERGROUND ELECTRICAL CABLES
A method for encasing underground electrical cables, includes (a) providing a fresh concrete composition including a paste that includes a hydraulic binder, a mineral addition and water, the paste being present in a mixture with sand and aggregates, whereby the paste is present in the concrete composition in a volume of <320 L/m.sup.3 and/or the solid volume fraction of said paste is >50 vol.-% and (b) placing the fresh concrete composition so as to encase the underground cables therewith.
FLARED HINGED-FOLDING UTILITY VAULT DEVICE
A folding, flared utility vault or enclosure that may be used to protect public utility valves, electrical cables, switches, fiber optic cables, or the like is provided. The system generally comprises a base box having a front panel, back panel, and side panels. Alternative embodiments may further comprise an extension box having a front extension panel, back extension panel, and side extension panels. The various panels of the base box and extension box may have flared bottoms that prevent removal after installation. Additionally, a user may attach extension boxes to the base box to increase the amount of storage area within the system.

Cable management system and assembly
A cable management system for an enclosed chamber includes a fixed member which has attachment formations associated therewith for attachment to the enclosed chamber and a displaceable member which is displaceable relative to the fixed member between at least an extended condition and a retracted condition and which has cable fixing formations. The cable management system includes a guide mechanism for guiding the relative displacement of the displaceable member relative to the fixed member, wherein the cable fixing formations are configured to fix at least one cable at a first point to the displaceable member, such that displacement of the displaceable member causes the cable to be displaced therewith. The cable management system may also form part of a cable management assembly which includes an enclosed chamber to which the fixed member is attached or attachable.

Standard provisioning for EV charging center
Provided in this disclosure is a standardized provisioning for an electrical vehicle charging station. A center pad is configured to be moved and placed on a horizontal surface at a desired location. A central junction box is formed in the center pad for receiving a power conduit stub-up and a communications conduit stub-up. The power and communications conduit stub-ups extend vertically above the horizontal surface. A plurality of outer junction boxes are formed in the center pad, each configured to provide a power connection and a communication connection to a respective plurality of electrical charging dispensers. A plurality of raceways extend through the center pad from the central junction box to each of the respective outer junction boxes to provide passageways for the power and communications connections between the stub-ups and the plurality of electrical charging dispensers.
Shielded self-latching locking assembly for a utility vault
A shielded locking system for securely closing a lid on an enclosure, such as a grade level utility vault, including an L-bolt connected to a spring-biased slide member positioned on the underside of the lid that rotates in a slotted housing that securely retains the L-bolt under the lid, the slide member engaging an abutment on the inside of the enclosure when the lid is forced down over an opening in the enclosure by downward force on the lid which progressively causes the latch to retract against the spring-bias from contact with the abutment and then snaps the latch into a spring-biased locking position under the abutment, and a non-conductive cover positioned over and connected to the locking system to shield the L-bolt from electrical conductivity from within the enclosure.
