High security multi-tiered locking system for utility vaults

A locking system for a utility vault including an I-beam extending across an opening in utility vault, a two-piece lid positioned in the opening over the I-beam, brackets positioned on opposite ends of each piece of the two-piece utility lid for engaging an inside wall surface of the utility vault and the I-beam, and a three-tier locking system positioned at an end of one piece of the two-piece lid to lock the lid to the vault including a L-bolt lock, a padlock and a lockable door on an upper surface of the lid.

UNIVERSAL COVER

A plate having an upper surface and a lower surface, a center point, and an outer perimeter. It further includes a plurality of clips for temporarily securing the plate in an opening in a landscape box. Each of the plurality of clips comprises a limb, extending vertically downward, the limb having the form of a rectangular plate and being upper bound by an upper edge and lower bound by a lower edge, wherein the upper edge is attached to the lower surface of the plate. The limb further includes a foot extending horizontally sideways from the lower edge.

Utility cover

A cover for an underground enclosure may include an upper surface and may include a pattern of bosses, and a first slot and a second slot each disposed on the upper surface. The cover may also include a lower surface opposite the upper surface. A first rib or reinforcement member may be coupled to the lower surface. The first slot may extend into the first rib or reinforcement member. A second rib or reinforcement member may be coupled to the lower surface and aligned with the first rib or reinforcement member. The second slot may extend into the second rib or reinforcement member. The cover may be configured to be lifted by the first slot and the second slot.

UTILITY ENCLOSURE APRON

Precast utility enclosure aprons for buried utility enclosures that have an angled top surface to direct water, ice and debris away from the center of the apron and to limit damage to the apron and utility enclosure caused by impacts to the apron.

Foldable and/or collapsible plastic/composite utility enclosure

A lid for a utility enclosure having a front end, a rear end, a right side, a left side, a top lid portion, and a bottom, defining an interior. Large reinforcement ribs are on an interior surface of the top lid portion and form a lattice-type structure. Small reinforcement ribs are mounted in spaces formed by the lattice type structure. The lid is made of glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene and metal bars or rebar are embedded in the large reinforcement ribs. The metal bars are positioned near a bottom of the large reinforcement ribs and spaced above the bottom. The physical structure of the lid and the lid's composition, consisting essentially of glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene, are constructed so that the lid withstands up to 33,750 pounds of force without breaking or being deformed.

Foldable and/or collapsible plastic/composite utility enclosure

A foldable extension enclosure for a utility enclosure, each having first, second, third, and fourth sides connected by hinges and each folding only in one direction by means of detents on the sides. A first end of the first side slidably overlaps a second opposite end of the third side and a first end of the second side slidably overlaps a second opposite end of the fourth side. There is an internal top ledge on each side in an interior near a top end of the extension enclosure and the utility enclosure and an external bottom ledge on each side on an exterior near a bottom end of the extension enclosure, to mount the extension enclosure to the utility enclosure with concave and convex detents. Convex detents are at the top end of the utility and extension enclosures and concave detents are at the bottom end of the extension enclosure. The convex detents also reversibly lock a lid to the tops of the utility and extension enclosures.

Device for inductive transfer of electrical energy

A device for the inductive transfer of electrical energy between a stationary coil, which can be installed in a roadway, and a secondary coil of a movable electrical load, in particular of an electrical vehicle, wherein a supply unit for supplying electrical energy is allocated to the coil. The problem of providing a maintenance-friendly, reliable, operationally secure device for inductive transfer of electrical energy, which is protected against penetration of water into the sensitive electronics, is solved in that the supply unit is arranged on a side of the coil facing away from the roadway in an installed state in a housing which is closed on top and laterally, having a housing opening open to the bottom.

JUNCTION BOX ASSEMBLY
20220045495 · 2022-02-10 ·

A junction box assembly including a box and a selectively displaceable lid, the lid including one or more articulating lock sockets and one or more lock hinge sockets. Hinge arms can be pivotally coupled to the box, with a first hinge arm also being pivotally secured to an articulating hinge socket to accommodate pivotal displacement of the lid from the box, as well as pivotal displacement of the lid about a portion of the first hinge arm. A second hinge arm can be selectively removable from secure engagement with the lock hinge assembly. Further, a tamper resistant pin can extend through the upper head portion of the second hinge arm when the second hinge arm is engaged with the lock hinge socket so as to lock the second hinge arm to the lid, and thereby secure the lid at a closed position on the box.

Electrical transformer trough

An in-ground electrical transformer trough, supporting a transformer pad is a non-conductive composite vault located below a transformer pad to provide for better access to a molded cavity below the transformer and pad to prevent access by animals, to enhance wire mobility to make it easier to switch or terminate insider the transformer, with the new design of the new bell designed at the bottom of the trough preventing floating, lift or rise after installation and to allow additional pipes, conduits and wires to be installed in the future, wherein the trough is installed prior to the installation of the ground pad and transformer to be set stable within the soil, with the transformer pad poured around the rim of the trough, further preventing slant or misplacement of the transformer and pad and providing a more solid mounting upon the ground surface without future sinking, tilt or slant.
