A system includes a cable management assembly movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The cable management assembly includes a first pair of brackets slidable with respect to each other as the cable management assembly moves between the extended position and the retracted position. The cable management assembly also includes a second pair of brackets slidable with respect to each other as the cable management assembly moves between the extended position and the retracted position. One of the first pair of brackets is pivotably coupled to one of the second pair of brackets.

A system and devices for guiding flexible corrugated hoses in industrial and robotic applications, where it is common to require tubing and electrical cables to be routed to various locations. A device for guiding such flexible hoses is described, comprising a rigid tube for containing a length of flexible corrugated hose and a spring element. A first end of the spring is fixed to an end of the tube, and a second end of the spring is fixed to an end of the flexible corrugated hose. The flexible corrugated hose may be drawn out of the tube against the force of the spring element, the spring element urging the flexible hose to return to a home position.

There is provided a power-supplying device and an assembly method thereof. By causing a first-turning member, which locks with an one end of a coil spring by a first-locking section, and a first support, which locks with the other end thereof by a second-locking section, to rotate relative to each other in the direction that is opposite to the biasing direction, and causing an engaging part and an engaged part to be in an engaged state by engaging with each other, thereby, maintaining the state where the initial biasing force is being imparted to the first turning member, is enabled, and the first support and a second support member are easily assembled to each other to make a turning member be supported, and thus, assembly properties can be made enhanced.

The functional monitoring of a cable drag chain consisting of links or segments connected in an articulated manner for guiding one or more lines. The cable drag chain is equipped with a detection line for detecting a malfunction of the cable drag chain which is arranged at the level of the neutral fibre of the cable drag chain. According to the invention, the detection line is composed, at least over a part of the length of the cable drag chain, of a plurality of individual line sections which are conductively interconnected by detachable connections, such that a malfunction of the cable drag chain leads to the line-interrupting separation of at least one of the connections and the resulting line interruption can be detected by a detector. The invention further relates to a kit for retrofitting a cable drag chain having a detection line and to a monitoring system for an energy chain.

The invention relates to an arrangement for the cable supply of a movable consumer, in particular in vertical applications, such as for example a drilling rig or the like. A main energy guide chain (10) guides at least one cable between a first connection point (6) and a second connection point (7) that is movable relative thereto, wherein said second connection point is moved between a first end position (4) and a second end position (5) of the consumer. According to the invention, a displaceable carriage (20) with an additional auxiliary energy guide chain (14) is provided for guiding the at least one cable between a third connection point (8) on the displaceable carriage and a stationary fourth connection point (9). This allows a retraction of the main energy guide chain (10) between an operating position and a parking position.

A cable management assembly includes a cable management device and a supporting device. The cable management device includes a first arm, a second arm and an intermediate frame being mounted between the first arm and the second arm. The intermediate frame includes a first mounting feature. The supporting device is configured to support one of the first arm, the second arm and the intermediate frame. The supporting device includes a base and an elastic member being arranged at the base. The elastic member has a second mounting feature configured to be detachably mounted to the first mounting feature.

An electrical wire guiding apparatus 10 includes a plurality of link members 20 that are pivotably connected in series, and each have an accommodation space 25 for an electric wire W provided therein. Each of the plurality of link members 20 includes a link body 20A in which a surface positioned on an inner side of a bend in a pivoted state is open as an opening surface 20C, and a cover 20B that is engaged with the link body 20A, and blocks the opening surface 20C.

A wire guide device is to be arranged at an end portion of a cable guide, and is internally provided with an insertion hole through which a wire is passed. The wire guide device includes a first divided part and a second divided part that can be combined in a width direction that intersects a direction in which the insertion hole is formed. The first divide part and the second divided part include locking portions that are locked to each other in the combined state, division faces that are opposed to each other in the width direction, and restriction portions (vertical movement restriction portions, and slide restriction portions) that are provided separately from the locking portions and abut against each other to restrict positional shift of the division faces.

A wire guide device includes a first divided part and a second divided part that can be combined in a width direction. In a combined state, the first divided part and the second divided part form an insertion hole 19 through which a wire passes in a direction intersecting the width direction. One end of the insertion hole is open toward a cable guide, and the other end of the insertion hole is open upward. The upper side of the insertion hole is covered by upper walls of the first divided part and the second divided part. The upper walls of the first divided part and the second divided part are formed in the width direction, are abutted against each other, and include upper guide portions that restrict displacement in a direction orthogonal to the width direction.
