An end fastening part for an energy chain, for connecting to a link plate of a terminal chain link at one end and to a connection point on a system part at the other end. The single-piece end fastening part has a main plane and comprises: an overlapping region having a side wall for connecting to a link plate; a frame-type fastening region having a frame, in which a plurality of fastening holes is provided, for fastening to a connection point; and, therebetween, a transition region, in which a concave end face is provided. According to the invention, the end face has at least two retaining protrusions, which protrude parallel to the main plane and behind which a link plate can engage such that the link plate is retained transversely to the main plane. Furthermore, the overlapping region has at least one, preferably two fixing protrusions, which protrude from the side wall perpendicularly to the main plane, for fixing a connected link plate in position in the longitudinal direction.

A hose retention system for a negative-angle-capable blasthole drilling machine is disclosed. The hose retention system may include an upper cage to extend longitudinally along a mast structure. The upper cage may have a secured end to couple the upper cage to the mast structure, a free end to extend toward the mast structure, and a first longitudinally-extending channel. The hose retention system may include a lower cage separate from the upper cage to extend longitudinally along the mast structure. The lower cage may have a secured end to couple the lower cage to the mast structure, a free end to extend toward the mast structure, and a second longitudinally-extending channel.

A device (10) for monitoring a retraction system (100) includes at least one capacitor (14) connected to at least one spring (12) in such a manner that the connection of the at least one spring (12) and the at least one capacitor (14) forms a tuned circuit (16). A frequency determination component (20) is provided and is designed to determine information regarding a frequency of the tuned circuit (16). An evaluation unit (30) is designed to derive information regarding a length of the at least one spring (12) from the information regarding the frequency of the tuned circuit (16).

The elastic member includes a fixed region whose deformation is restricted by being fixed to a bottom surface of the block member, and the supporting member includes a flexure reduction unit for reducing flexure at a position near the fixed region of the elastic member.

The arm comprises: a rigid chain, the rigid chain being compliant in a first direction from a neutral axis and resistant in an opposite second direction past the neutral axis, or at least one scissor arm.

Repeated rotation may create strain on or otherwise cause the cables to intermittently or permanently fail. A helical cable management system is provided that enables full rotation to the extent permitted. One or more cables are wound in a helical shape around the axis of rotation, which distributes the deformation of the cable along the helical length. Rotation in one direction causes the helix diameter to increase, while rotation in the other direction causes the helix diameter to decrease. A structure is used to maintain the distance between helical turns, while permitting the increase and decrease of the helix diameter. This reduces the overall strain on the cables, which can significantly extend their useful lifetime.
