Anti-slip system with injection operation
A grommet assembly includes a wire harness and a grommet including a hollow channel configured to receive the wire harness therein. At least one rib extends inwards from and substantially annularly about the interior surface of the hollow channel. At least one port configured to fluidly couple the hollow channel with an exterior environment is defined by the grommet. Material is injected into the channel through the port to secure the grommet relative to the wire harness. The material injected into the channel flows through interstices located between adjacent wires that define the wire harness so as to encapsulate the wires. The injected material also flows into other voids and openings located within the hollow channel. Upon setting, the injected material is configured to prevent movement of the grommet relative to the wire harness and to prevent the passage of contaminants through the grommet assembly.
Electrical component enclosure with injected seal and method
An enclosure and method for an electrical component having a base portion and a cover portion. The base portion has a first channel which extends about at least a portion of a periphery of the base portion. The cover portion has a second channel which extends about at least a portion of a periphery of the cover portion. The second channel is aligned with the first channel to form a sealant receiving channel. A sealant is provided in the sealant receiving channel. The cover portion has at least one inlet opening configured to receive the sealant as the sealant is injected into the sealant receiving channel. The cover portion has at least one outlet opening configured to allow excess sealant of the sealant to escape from the sealant receiving channel as the sealant is injected into the sealant receiving channel.
Cable Connector Attachment
A cable connector attachment is provided, the attachment including at least a hose fitting, wherein said hose fitting is swedged into an associated cable and threaded into a CCP; and a set screw, wherein said set screw is inserted into the hose fitting to ensure the CCP cannot vibrate loose. Optimally the set screw is a tapered screw, so that greater force is applied to the terminus end. A braided hose is disposed in mechanical communication with a stainless hose fitting and secured using one or more fasteners. The hose is securely pressed completely inside the stainless hose fitting and then crimped, and a status signal is optimally provided by a crimp machine when a predefined crimp has been completed, thereby notifying the operator of such status. Optimally the crimp measures between about 1.1-about 1.2 inches.
GATEWAY DEVICE
This application provides a gateway device. The gateway device may include a base and a cable waterproof structure disposed on the base, the base includes at least one network interface, and the cable waterproof structure includes a cable plugged into the network interface and a cover that covers the network interface. The cable includes a cable body and a network interface plug fastened to an end portion of the cable body. A sealing member is disposed at a joint between the cable body and the network interface plug. A threading hole through which the cable is threaded is disposed in the cover, and the sealing member is attached to the threading hole through interference fit. Effective waterproof for the cable can be implemented through interference fit between the sealing member and the threading hole of the cover.
Wall feedthrough
The invention relates to a wall feedthrough having a frame which is divided by at least one intermediate web into at least two chambers, wherein at least one grommet of elastic material is arranged in each of the chambers, and wherein the grommet has at least one passage opening for accommodating an elongated object to be passed through the wall. It is provided according to the invention that two adjacent grommets, having an intermediate web between them, are respectively designed in such a way that they overlap the intermediate web on at least one side of the frame in the longitudinal direction of the elongated objects over the entire height of one side edge of the grommet and make sealing contact with each other.

Grommet with a plurality of zones having different levels of elasticity
The invention relates to a grommet made of a material that is elastic at least in portions for receiving at least one elongate object for strain relief and sealing, comprising an outer frame element that can be opened along a slit and comprises at least two membranes that are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction of the elongate object to be received and each comprise a hole of equal size, so as to be flush with one another, for receiving the elongate object. The invention is characterised in that the respective hole of the at least two membranes contacts the material of the frame element on the side of the slit.

Apparatus for dispensing curable material into a cable gland
A dispenser apparatus (10) for dispensing curable liquid material into a space in a cable gland is disclosed. The apparatus comprises a housing (12) for separately storing of components of a curable liquid material and provided with a respective first outlet (14) for each component. A mixing chamber (16) mixes the components to cause curing of the curable liquid material and has an inlet (18) for receiving the components from the first outlets, and a second outlet (20) for the mixed components. A plunger (22) urges the components out of storage chambers of the housing via the first outlets and into the mixing chamber via the inlet. The dispenser apparatus is adapted to be located in a body of a cable gland such that the mixed components are dispensable from, the second outlet into a space defined by the body and a cable extending through the body.
