GRAPHITE THERMAL CABLE AND METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING SAME
A system may include a thermal source, a thermal sink and heat-rejecting media comprising a thermal cable, the thermal cable comprising a main length comprising a flexible graphite layer rolled into a cylindrical shape covered on the outside thereof by a thermally-insulating layer of the same cylindrical shape, a first termination at which the flexible graphite layer thermally couples to the thermal source, and a second termination at which the flexible graphite layer thermally couples to the thermal sink.
Method for manufacturing a wiring system
A method for manufacturing a wiring system includes providing an electric cable having an electric conductor and a contact element with a termination portion, and removing a cable insulation in a first sub-portion of the electric cable. The cable insulation remains on the electric conductor in a second sub-portion of the electric cable offset from the first sub-portion. The electric conductor is welded at the first sub-portion to a termination surface of the termination portion. The first sub-portion is pressed against the termination portion and compressed during welding. A holding device encompasses the second sub-portion at least partially. The holding device supports the second sub-portion at least during the welding and compressing of the first sub-portion and maintains a position of the second sub-portion.

Wire harness wire end protection method
A wire end of a wire harness is protected. The wire harness includes a wire bundle and a connector connected therewith. The wire bundle includes the wire end, and the wire end includes a bent portion and faces the connector. First, a sheet member is folded perpendicularly to a wire lead-out surface of the connector, thereby forming, concurrently, counter sides facing the wire lead-out surface, side surface covering portions, and a tip end protection portion. Next, the side surface covering portions are folded along a top protection portion formation portion, thereby forming, concurrently, side surface protection portions, a top protection portion and an extending portion. Next, a wire end protection portion is secured, with a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape or the like, to a wire bundle portion while the relative position of the counter sides with respect to the wire lead-out surface is maintained.

Power cable measurement system
A power cable measurement system for facilitating measurements of a power cable terminated at an electrical substation and connected to an overhead busbar, including: a first movable structure provided with a first busbar connector, and a measurement equipment connector device configured to be electrically connected to the first busbar connector and to measurement equipment, wherein the first movable structure is configured to be maneuvered between a default lowered position in which the first busbar connector is disconnected from the overhead busbar, and a temporary elevated position in which the first busbar connector is set in electrical connection with the overhead busbar to provide an electrical connection between the overhead busbar and the measurement equipment connector device.

Wire connection structure and wire connection method
A harness is provided with one or more first wires each including a first core exposed portion, one or more second wires each including a second core exposed portion, and a bonded portion formed by welding the first and second core exposed portion(s). A total cross-sectional area of the second core(s) is equal to or less than ⅓ of the sum of total cross-sectional areas of the first and second core(s). The bonded portion has two pairs of outer surfaces extending along an extending direction of the first and second wires and facing each other and a distance H between one pair of the outer surfaces (upper/lower surfaces), out of the two pairs of outer surfaces, is longer than a distance W between another pair of the outer surfaces (right/left side surfaces). The second core exposed portion(s) is/are arranged adjacent to the upper surface Up in the bonded portion.
