The present invention teaches a foamable pharmaceutical carrier comprising a benefit agent, selected from the group consisting of a dicarboxylic acid and a dicarboxylic acid ester; a stabilizer selected from the group consisting of at least one surface-active agent; at least one polymeric agent and mixtures thereof; a solvent selected from the group consisting of water, a hydrophilic solvent, a hydrophobic solvent, a potent solvent, a polar solvent, a silicone, an emollient, and mixtures thereof, wherein the benefit agent, stabilizer and solvent are selected to provide a composition that is substantially resistant to aging and to phase separation and or can substantially stabilize other active ingredients. The invention further relates to a foamable composition further containing a liquefied hydrocarbon gas propellant.
ALCOGEL SHEET FOR COSMETIC USE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A cosmetic gel sheet suitable for a cosmetic field or a medical field is provided.
The cosmetic alcogel sheet of the present invention comprises: a water-soluble nonwoven fabric or a water-soluble film; and an alcogel which is laminated on it and contains carboxy group-containing water-soluble polymer, polyalcohol and acid as essential components, and the sheet is characterized in that the water content of the gel is 30% by mass or less. It is more preferred that the carboxy group-containing water-soluble polymer is carboxy group-containing polysaccharides, and the polyalcohol is glycerin. The cosmetic alcogel sheet of the present invention can be manufactured by: drying an aqueous solution containing carboxy group-containing water-soluble polymer, polyalcohol and acid as essential components on a releasable sheet to manufacture gel, and then laminating the gel on a water-soluble nonwoven fabric or a water-soluble film.
Combined care and styling agent having a heating element effect
Cosmetic composition having a heating effect and used for the care and temporary shaping of keratin fibers and related methods are provided. The cosmetic composition can include at least one polyethylene glycol comprising 4 to 20 oxyethylene units; a copolymer composed of hydrogenated castor oil and an n-alkyl dicarboxylic acid comprising 4 to 10 C atoms; and at least one film-forming agent.
Adhesive sheet for affixation to body, housed in container
Provided is an adhesive sheet for affixation to the body which is excellent in enhancement and persistence of the blood circulation promoting action, has high affixability and conformability as a sheet, and is easily and widely applicable to the body in any use situation. That is, the present invention relates to an adhesive sheet for affixation to the body housed in a container, containing the following components (A) and (B): (A) bubbles containing carbon dioxide gas in a bubble fraction of 10% or more and 40% or less, and (B) water, wherein the total area occupied by bubbles having an imaginary diameter of 5 mm or more is 10% or less, in 100% of the surface area of the adhesive sheet for affixation to the body, a content of carbon dioxide gas in the total amount of the adhesive sheet for affixation to the body is from 100 to 20,000 ppm, and the adhesive sheet for affixation to the body is sealed in a low gas-permeable container.
HOUSEHOLD PRODUCT DELIVERING WARMING AND/OR TINGLING SENSATIONS
A household product includes a fragrance composition. The fragrance composition includes a chemaesthethic agent selected from: vanillyl ethyl ether, vanillyl n-propyl ether, vanillyl isopropyl ether, vanillyl butyl ether, elemol, elimicin, lime oxide, ocimene quintoxide, 2-isopropenyl-5-methyl-5-vinyltetrahydrofuran and isopulegol. In particular, the household product is preferably an air freshener dispenser device, a floor cleaner, a kitchen or bathroom surface cleaner, a toilet rim block, or a toilet cistern block.
SELF-HEATING AGENT FOR THE REDUCTIVE DECOLORATION OF DYED KERATINOUS FIBERS
Kit-of-parts for the reductive decoloration of dyed keratinous fibers comprising, packaged separately from one another (I) a first container (A) containing a cosmetic agent (a) and (II) a second container (B) containing a cosmetic agent (b), wherein the agent (a) in the first container (A) (a1) contains one or more reducing agents from the group of formamidine sulphinic acids, sodium dithionite, zinc dithionite, potassium dithionite, hydroxymethane sulphinic acid, aminomethan sulphinic acid, cysteine, thiolactic acid, sulfanyl acetic acid, and/or ascorbic acid, and the agent (b) in container (B) (b1) contains one or more oxidants from the group of hydrogen peroxide, potassium sulphate, sodium persulphate and/or ammonium persulphate, and wherein the weight ratio of the total quantity of all reducing agents (a1) to the total quantity of all oxidants (b1)relative to the total weight of agents (a) plus (b)is a value of 50.0 to 4.0.
DICARBOXYLIC ACID FOAMABLE VEHICLE AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS THEREOF
