The system can determine, responsive to the event, to modify a set point for one of the energy storage systems based on the state information and the amounts of electricity consumption monitored by the sub-meters on the first grid. The data processing system can provide, based on the determination, one or more commands to the controller to modify the set point for at least one of the plurality of energy storage systems on the first grid.

A power system for an electrical system with highly fluctuating loads is powered by one or more power sources that are slow to react to load changes. The power sources are connected to electrical equipment used on the drill rig which provide active load to the generate. One or more load banks may be positioned to provide passive load to the generators to maintain generally constant generator load, while allowing for instant access to power as active load increases. Generators may be run at 100% capacity, a maximum efficient capacity, or at a high enough level to allow for a sufficiently rapid increase in power output. At least one parameter of a drilling operation may be utilized to anticipate load demand changes.

A long-term predictor predicts long-term predicted power indicating temporal changes in consumed power of a customer using a long-term prediction model. A short-term predictor predicts short-term predicted power indicating temporal changes in the consumed power of the customer immediately after a current time, using a short-term prediction model, based on temporal changes in the consumed power of the customer immediately before the current time. A controller controls charging and discharging of a power storage apparatus at intervals based on the long-term predicted power and the short-term predicted power. The controller predicts temporal changes in charging power, discharging power, and charged electric energy of the power storage apparatus, and when the charged electric energy is predicted to reaches a lower limit due to discharging of the power storage apparatus, the controller charges power from the power network to the power storage apparatus in advance.

Disclosed are a power grid user classification method and device, and a computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: determining user power consumption data of each time period within a time interval, the user power consumption data of each time period including user power consumption data of each time granularity within the time period; generating a power consumption pattern image of a user within the time interval based upon the user power consumption data of each time period within the time interval; and classifying the user based upon an image recognition result of the power consumption pattern image. A user is classified by performing image recognition on a power consumption pattern image, and file information does not need to be manually inputted, thereby reducing a manual workload. In addition, a completion defect caused by incomplete file information is avoided, thereby improving the accuracy of classification.

Distributed Energy Control

A system includes an energy storage device geographically proximate a plurality of load centers. The energy storage device is coupled to one or more of the plurality of load centers for supplying energy to the load centers and is also coupled to an energy generation source for receiving energy from the energy generation source. The system also includes a control system that is operable to receive energy market data, monitor the plurality of load centers, the energy storage device, and the energy generation source, and control the charging and dispatching of the energy storage device based on the monitoring and the energy market data.
