Plurality of data centers employ the systems and methods comprised of a plurality of Tier 2 data centers that may be running applications, virtual machines and physical computer systems to enable data center and application disaster recovery from utility energy market outages. Systems and methods may be employed to enable application load balancing and data center power load balancing across a plurality of data centers and may lead to financial benefits when moving application and power loads from one data center location using power during peak energy hours to another data center location using power during off-peak hours.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING AND UTILIZING CUSTOMER ENERGY PROFILES FOR LOAD CONTROL FOR INDIVIDUAL STRUCTURES, DEVICES, AND AGGREGATION OF SAME
A system and method for creating and making use of customer profiles, including energy consumption patterns. Devices within a service point, using the active load director, may be subject to control events, often based on customer preferences. These control events cause the service point to use less power. Data associated with these control events, as well as related environment data, are used to create an energy consumption profile for each service point. This can be used by the utility to determine which service points are the best targets for energy consumption. In addition, an intelligent load rotation algorithm determines how to prevent the same service points from being picked first each time the utility wants to conserve power.
Controlled environment agriculture electricity optimization
An exemplary control unit may respond to electrical grid needs within a controlled environment agricultural system, which may include one or more power consuming and environment controlling systems. The control unit may identify criticality of and power consumption by the systems and may compare those with the current cost of power (capacity and energy). The control unit may analyze the cost of adjusting power to systems and the cost of powering those systems during a specified period of time. The analysis may account for the value of adjusting the electricity as well as tariffs and market mechanisms specific to the electricity market in a responsive manner. The cost of powering off or reducing power to those systems may be identified by considering the value of the associated crops, and the impact that the system has on the crops.

Method and apparatus for operating electrical devices in mutually coordinated fashion
To operate electrical devices, power consumptions of all the electrical devices are continually captured and assigned to the individual electrical devices and at least one desired result is achieved by virtue of at least a first control instance of the electrical devices, the operation of which helps to achieve a desired result, and a second control instance of the electrical devices, the operation of which likewise helps to achieve the desired result. The devices are operated in a coordinated fashion. To this end, measured values from multiple measured value transmitters are captured by operating the multiple electrical devices. Correlations between changes in the measured values of the individual measured value transmitters over time and changes in the power consumptions of the individual electrical devices over time are determined and the desired result is selected from a subgroup of results.
Transaction-enabled systems and methods for identifying and acquiring machine resources on a forward resource market
Transaction-enabled systems and methods for identifying and acquiring machine resources on a forward resource market are disclosed. An example system may include a controller having a resource requirement circuit to determine an amount of a resource required for a machine to service a task requirement, a forward resource market circuit to access a forward resource market, a resource market circuit to access a resource market, and a resource distribution circuit to execute a transaction of the resource on at least one of the resource market or the forward resource market in response to the determined amount of the resource required.
Forward market renewable energy credit prediction from automated agent behavioral data
Systems and methods for prediction of forward market renewable energy credit from automated agent behavioral data are disclosed. An example transaction-enabling system may include a forward market circuit to access a forward energy credit market, and a market forecasting circuit to automatically generate a forecast for a forward market price of an energy credit in the forward energy credit market, based in part on an automated agent behavior collected from an automated agent behavioral data source. The example system may further include wherein the energy credit comprises a renewable energy credit from a renewable energy system, and a smart contract circuit to sell the renewable energy credit or purchase the renewable energy credit on the forward energy credit market in response to the forecasted forward market price.
Transaction-enabled methods for providing provable access to a distributed ledger with a tokenized instruction set for a biological production process
Transaction-enabled methods for providing provable access to a distributed ledger with a tokenized instruction set for biological production processes are described. A method may include accessing a distributed ledger comprising an instruction set for a biological production process and tokenizing the instruction set. The method may further include interpreting an instruction set access request and, in response to the access request, providing a provable access to the instruction set. The method may further include providing commands to a production tool of the biological production process in response to the instruction set access request and recording the transaction on the distributed ledger.
Techniques for forecasting solar power generation
A forecast engine generates a clear-sky solar power generation level corresponding to a photovoltaic installation that resides within a geographical area. The clear-sky solar power generation level indicates an amount of electricity generated by the photovoltaic installation under clear-sky conditions. The forecast engine also generates a measurement device index corresponding to a measurement device that resides proximate to the photovoltaic installation. The measurement device index indicates an amount of cloud cover present at the location where the measurement device resides. The forecast engine then generates a solar power generation forecast for the geographical area based on the clear-sky solar power generation level and the measurement device index.
Transaction-enabled systems and methods for providing provable access to a distributed ledger with serverless code logic
Systems and transaction-enabled methods for providing provable access to a distributed ledger with serverless code logic are disclosed. A transaction-enabling system may include a controller configured to access a distributed ledger comprising serverless code logic, tokenize the serverless code logic, interpret an access request for the serverless code logic and, in response to the access request, provide a provable access to the serverless code logic.
