POWER MANAGEMENT IN EXERCISE MACHINE
20200298062 · 2020-09-24 ·

A request is received for a higher torque from a torque controller than is possible from a power supply. The torque controller is coupled to a motor and the power supply, and the motor is coupled to an actuator. The actuator ultimately establishes resistance for a user in an exercise. An energy storage device is discharged to the motor in order to generate the higher torque, wherein the energy storage device is indirectly coupled to the torque controller.

In general, one or more loads on a vehicle can be connected to both a first voltage source on the vehicle and a backup vehicle power system on the vehicle. If the voltage provided by the first voltage source to the one or more loads satisfies a voltage threshold, the backup vehicle power system does not provide power to the one or more loads. However, if the voltage provided by the first voltage source to the one or more loads falls below the voltage threshold, the backup vehicle power system provides power to the one or more loads.

A package deposit enclosure designed for public use is powered by an efficient storage battery and photovoltaic cell array. These unique features allow the package deposit enclosure to be placed in locations where no power is available, but where there is frequent human traffic. Sensing and wireless data communication features allow the unit to be emptied less often than typical package delivery enclosures. Wireless communication also allows users' access to real-time information. On board power enables other functions, such as lighting and audio, to enhance device functionality.

Display cart and its power supply system and power supply method

A display cart includes a pedestal, a lifting frame, and a power supply apparatus including a battery arranged within the pedestal and configured to supply power to an electric apparatus, an external power supply configured to supply power to the battery and/or the electric apparatus, and a capacity management system. The capacity management system includes a control device, a power delivery device, and a capacity statistic device. The control device determines output power of the electric apparatus. The capacity statistic device determines a remaining capacity in the battery, calculates a remaining power supply duration according to the output power of the electric apparatus, and sends a statistic result to the control device. The control device further controls the power delivery device to supply power to the electric apparatus according to the statistic result.
