The present disclosure relates to hair care and conditioning compositions comprising polyols; monoalcohols having from 2 to 6 carbon atoms; fatty alcohols selected from cetyl alcohol and myristyl alcohol; cationic surfactants; fatty carbonate esters; and dialkyl ethers. When the composition is applied to the wet or damp hair or put in contact with extraneous water, the composition forms an emulsion having a lamellar phase. The present disclosure also relates to methods of treating hair using these compositions.

WATER-IN-OIL EMULSION HAVING A HIGH INTERNAL WATER PHASE CONTENT
20230248623 · 2023-08-10 ·

The present application relates to a composition in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion having a high internal water phase content and improved stability and improved sensory qualities, comprising: a) a continuous oil phase containing at least two emulsifiers chosen from esters of C8-C30 fatty acid and polyglycerol, and at least one non-silicone oil with a relative density to water at 4° C. of less than 0.9; and b) an aqueous phase dispersed in the oil phase and constituting a content of at least 70 wt % of the total weight of the composition constituting 100%; characterised in that the ratio by weight of the emulsifiers to the at least one oil is less than 1/5.

ANTIPERSPIRANT AND DEODORANT COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING CAPSULES

Antiperspirant and deodorant compositions that include capsules characterized by substantially inorganic shells. The present disclosure further relates to methods of making and using such compositions.

Oil-in-water emulsion cosmetic

An oil-in-water type emulsified cosmetic and a method of making can be prepared in a system not containing a silicone and is surprisingly produced without a wet-type dispersion apparatus by using a specific combination of the oil component constituting the oily phase and a hydrophobizing agent for a hydrophobized powder. The composition includes an aqueous phase; an oily phase dispersed in the aqueous phase; and a powder dispersed in the oily phase. The oily phase comprises a volatile hydrocarbon in oil in a combined amount of 40% by mass or more with respect to the total oil content. The powder has a surface hydrophobized by treatment with a metallic soap consisting of a higher fatty acid and a divalent metal, or by a composite treatment with a higher fatty acid and a divalent metal hydroxide.

Alcohol containing low-water cleansing composition

A low-water cleansing composition is provided that includes 5.0 wt. % to less than 40 wt. % of one or more C.sub.1-C.sub.8 alcohol, at least 10.0 wt. % of a mixture of two or more surfactants, at least 0.05 wt. % of a pH adjuster; and water, the concentrations being based on a total weight of the low-water cleansing composition.

Alcohol containing non-antimicrobial cleansing composition

A non-antimicrobial cleansing composition is disclosed comprising from about 10.0 wt. % to less than about 40 wt. % of one or more C.sub.1-C.sub.8 alcohols; about 0.5 wt. % to about 10.0 wt. % of at least one primary surfactant; 0 wt. % to about 10.0 wt. % of at least one secondary surfactant, with the primary and secondary surfactants having an HLB value greater than 8; a pH adjusting agent; and water. The composition does not achieve a microbial kill level greater than 2.0 log.
