IN-BODY WIRELESS CHARGING SYSTEM

Various embodiments comprise systems, methods, architectures, mechanisms or apparatus providing far-field wireless charging of implanted medical devices, Internet of Things (IoT) and the like via a leader radio configured for receiving spread spectrum (SS) modulated radio waves from a plurality of slave radios within an area including the leader radio and a target device, for receiving from the target device backscatter radio energy associated with the (SS) modulated radio waves, and for generating slave radio control signals; the leader radio, in a charging mode of operation, being configured for determining changes in received power associated with backscatter radio energy received from the target device and responsively transmitting control signals toward the slave radios configured to cause the slave radios to modify respective radio wave transmission times such that slave radio wave transmissions are substantially phase aligned when received at the target device.

SWINGING COILS IN MULTI-COIL WIRELESS CHARGERS

Systems, methods and apparatus for wireless charging are disclosed. A wireless charging device has a first plurality of charging coils provided at a charging surface of the wireless charging device, and a controller. The controller may be configured to determine that a chargeable device is positioned proximate to a plurality of charging coils provided in a charging surface, decouple a first charging coil in the plurality of charging coils from a first driver circuit, couple the first charging coil to a second driver circuit, where a second charging coil in the plurality of charging coils may be coupled to the second driver circuit, and configure the charging current supplied by the second driver circuit to cause the first charging coil and the second charging coil to transfer a desired power level to the chargeable device.

GROUND POWER SUPPLY APPARATUS

A ground power supply apparatus for transmitting power to a vehicle by noncontact has: a plurality of power transmission apparatuses for transmitting power to the vehicle; at least one detection device for detecting a signal emitted from the vehicle using narrow range wireless communication; and a controller for controlling the power transmission apparatuses. The power transmission apparatuses are arranged in a road aligned in a direction of advance of the vehicle. One first detection device is arranged so as to enable detection of the signal at an upstream side from the most upstream power transmission apparatus. The control device controls transmission of power from power transmission apparatuses other than the first power transmission apparatus positioned the most upstream, based on the signal detected by the first detection device and power transmission result information at the power transmission apparatus positioned upstream of that power transmission apparatus.
