A power transmission device includes a motor, a gear mechanism connected downstream of the motor; and a pump that sucks oil through a pump inlet. A shortest distance between an open end of the pump inlet and a surface of a stator of the motor is shorter than a shortest distance between the open end of the pump inlet and a surface of the gear mechanism.
Electric machine with baffle member for filtering air flow
An electric machine having a housing with the rotor and stator disposed within the housing. The housing defines at least one housing opening allowing the inflow of air into the housing. A baffle is mounted on the housing and controls the inflow of air into the housing opening. The baffle member defines an inlet in communication with the ambient air, an outlet in communication with the housing opening, and a passageway extending from the inlet to the outlet. The baffle defines at least one impact surface within the passageway for changing the direction of air flow between the inlet and the outlet and the baffle further defines a drain port wherein the passageway directs moisture collecting on the impact surface to the drain port where it is discharged from the baffle. The electric motor may be an axial flow air-cooled alternator having a fan for generating the air flow.

An electric machine having a housing with the rotor and stator disposed within the housing. The housing defines at least one housing opening allowing the inflow of air into the housing. A baffle is mounted on the housing and controls the inflow of air into the housing opening. The baffle member defines an inlet in communication with the ambient air, an outlet in communication with the housing opening, and a passageway extending from the inlet to the outlet. The baffle defines at least one impact surface within the passageway for changing the direction of air flow between the inlet and the outlet and the baffle further defines a drain port wherein the passageway directs moisture collecting on the impact surface to the drain port where it is discharged from the baffle. The electric motor may be an axial flow air-cooled alternator having a fan for generating the air flow.
DRIVE UNIT
A drive unit includes an electric motor for propulsion and a cooling system. The electric motor includes a stator assembly and a rotor assembly, the stator assembly including a housing, a core with grooves, and a winding assembly. The winding assembly extends through the grooves. The housing includes a housing inlet and outlet. The cooling system includes a first cooling circuit to enable a direct cooling of the winding assembly. The first cooling circuit includes an expansion tank assembly, including a tank, a tank inlet and outlet, and a volume change assembly. The volume change assembly enables change of the total volume of the first cooling circuit as a function of pressure in the first cooling circuit such that, as the pressure in the first cooling circuit increases, a first volume is increased and, as the pressure in the first cooling circuit decreases, the first volume is reduced.

The expansion tank is connected to the first cooling circuit via the at least one inlet and the outlet. The pressure equalization assembly enables a connection between the expansion tank and an ambient environment to cause a pressure equalization between the expansion tank and ambient environment.

The expansion tank is connected to the first cooling circuit via the at least one inlet and the outlet. The pressure equalization assembly enables a connection between the expansion tank and an ambient environment to cause a pressure equalization between the expansion tank and ambient environment.
OIL-WATER-COOLED ELECTRIC DRIVE ASSEMBLY AND NEW ENERGY AUTOMOBILE
An electric drive assembly is provided with oil/water dual cooling that includes a motor module, a gearbox module, a water cooling module and an oil cooling module. The oil cooling module has three oil cooling passages, and introduces the lubricating oil in the gearbox into the front and rear windings of the motor, thereby improving the cooling performance of the motor, eliminating the need for a motor shaft oil seal, reducing the cost of the drive assembly and improving the transmission efficiency. The water cooling module cools the motor housing through the motor water jacket, and cools the lubricating oil in the gearbox housing through the heat sink at the bottom of the gearbox, thereby solving the heat dissipation problem when the gearbox operates at high speed constantly, and thus improving the service life and reliability of the gear and bearing.
Single-transport mobile electric power generation
An apparatus for providing mobile electric power includes a power generation transport. The power generation transport includes an air inlet filter housing, an inlet plenum coupled to the air inlet filter housing, an exhaust collector, an exhaust implement coupled to the exhaust collector, a gas turbine, a generator driven by the gas turbine, and an elevating system configured to elevate the exhaust implement to convert the power generation transport to an operational mode, and lower the exhaust implement back down to convert the power generation transport to a transportation mode. The elevating system performs the elevating and the lowering without utilizing any external mechanical apparatus. The air inlet filter housing, the inlet plenum, the exhaust collector, the exhaust implement, the gas turbine, the generator, and the elevating system are mounted on the power generation transport.
Single-transport mobile electric power generation
An apparatus for providing mobile electric power includes a power generation transport. The power generation transport includes an air inlet filter housing, an inlet plenum coupled to the air inlet filter housing, an exhaust collector, an exhaust implement coupled to the exhaust collector, a gas turbine, a generator driven by the gas turbine, and an elevating system configured to elevate the exhaust implement to convert the power generation transport to an operational mode, and lower the exhaust implement back down to convert the power generation transport to a transportation mode. The elevating system performs the elevating and the lowering without utilizing any external mechanical apparatus. The air inlet filter housing, the inlet plenum, the exhaust collector, the exhaust implement, the gas turbine, the generator, and the elevating system are mounted on the power generation transport.
