The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition for making up and/or caring for the lips, which is in the form of a liquid emulsion including: a) at least 5% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition, of one or more non-volatile oils; b) 1 to 30% by weight of active substance, relative to the total weight of the composition, of at least one film-forming agent chosen from vinyl polymers comprising at least one carbosiloxane dendrimer-based unit; c) at least 10% by weight of water relative to the total weight of the composition, d) least one coloring material.
Oil Soluble Rheology Modifying Star macromolecules
Oil soluble rheology modifying star macromolecules having a core and five or more polymeric arms, and compositions comprising the same. The polymeric arms on a star are covalently attached to the core of the star; each polymeric arm comprises one or more (co)polymer segments; and each polymeric arm comprises a monomeric unit of a methyl methacrylate. The oil soluble rheology modifying star macromolecules and compositions comprising the same for use in oil based systems.

The present invention relates to an anhydrous solid cosmetic composition comprising: a) at least one non-volatile phenyl silicone first oil not bearing any dimethicone fragments; b) at least one non-volatile phenyl silicone second oil bearing at least one dimethicone fragment; c) at least one vinyl polymer comprising at least one carbosiloxane dendrimer-based unit. The invention also relates to a process for making up and/or caring for the lips, in which the abovementioned composition is applied to the lips.
SOLID COMPOSITION WITH A VINYL POLYMER BEARING A CARBOSILOXANE DENDRIMER UNIT AND VOLATILE HYDROCARBON-BASED OILS, AND TREATMENT PROCESS
The present invention relates to an anhydrous solid cosmetic composition comprising: a) at least one vinyl polymer comprising at least one carbosiloxane dendrimer-based unit; b) at least two hydrocarbon-based volatile oils, c) at least one saturated or unsaturated, preferably linear, solid fatty alcohol whose melting point is greater than or equal to 40 C., comprising from 16 to 60 carbon atoms. The invention also relates to a process for making up and/or caring for the lips, in which the abovementioned composition is applied to the lips.
Hair care polymer
The invention relates to specific quaternized hyperbranched polymers having end-groups of formula (I) characterized in that said quaternized hyperbranched polymer is obtainable by preparation of a hyperbranched polymer having dimethylamino end groups by condensation of 2-dodecen-1-ylsuccinic anhydride, diisopropanolamine and N,N-bis[3-(dimethylamino)propyl]amine followed by quaternization of the dimethylamino end-groups to end groups of formula (I). Furthermore, the invention is directed to clear shampoo preparations comprising such quaternized hyperbranched polymers. ##STR00001##
COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING SPECIFIC HYPERBRANCHED COPOLYMERS AND NON-IONIC EMULSIFIERS BEING AN ETHER OR AN ESTER OF (POLY)ETHYLENEOXIDE
The present invention relates to cosmetic skin care compositions which comprise a hyperbranched copolymer of the monomers dodecenyl succinic acid anhydride, diisopropanol amine and bis-dimentheylaminopropyl amine having quaternary terminal groups and at least one non-ionic emulsifier being an ether or an ester of (poly)ethylene glycol.
COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING SPECIFIC HYPERBRANCHED COPOLYMERS AND LIQUID DISPERSIONS OF AN ACRYLIC POLYMER
The present invention relates to methods of reducing material transfer of cosmetic compositions which include at least one liquid dispersion of an acrylic polymer by incorporating into the cosmetic compositions an amount of a hyperbranched copolymer sufficient to reduce material transfer of the cosmetic composition, wherein the hyperbranched copolymer is a copolymerization reaction product of the monomers dodecenyl succinic acid anhydride, diisopropanol amine and bis-dimethylaminopropyl amine having quaternary terminal groups and at least one liquid dispersion of an acrylic polymer which is a homopolymer or a copolymer of the monomers selected from the group consisting of (meth)acrylic acid, (meth)acrylic esters, (meth)acrylamide and amides of (meth)acrylic acid.
