Electric motor with housing fixed to end face of stator core
A feed axis motor includes a front-side housing fixed to an end face of a stator core. The stator core is formed of a material with iron as a main component. The front-side housing is formed of a material with aluminum as a main component. The stator core and the front-side housing are coupled with each other at a welding mark generated by laser welding. The welding mark extends in a circumferential direction so as to cover a line of contact between the stator core and the front-side housing. The welding mark seals the boundary portion between the stator core and the front-side housing.

End plate for motor casing
An end plate for a motor with a motor casing. The end plate includes a body adapted to be coupled to the motor casing and cover an opening of the motor casing. The body defines a ribbed structure to shield a power terminal assembly disposed laterally outwardly with respect to the motor casing. The ribbed structure includes a first rib and a second rib spaced apart from the first rib, and the power terminal assembly is adapted to be coupled to and be captured in between the first rib and the second rib.
PERMANENT MAGNET MODULE FOR A PERMANENT MAGNET MACHINE
A method of manufacturing a permanent magnet module for a permanent magnet machine includes the steps of: providing at least a permanent magnet, manufacturing a cover for covering the permanent magnet, the cover including a stainless steel, wherein the cover includes at least a top side and two lateral sides, the magnetic permeability of the top side being higher than the magnetic permeability of the lateral sides, the lateral sides being respectively attached to a first and a second edge of the top side, the lateral sides being angled with respect to the top side, attaching the cover to the permanent magnet.

Adaptor with improved airflow
An adaptor is disclosed for connecting a rotating electrical machine 12 to a prime mover 10. The adaptor comprises at least one air outlet. The adaptor is arranged to provide an increase in a cross-sectional area of air flow towards the outlet. In this way part of the dynamic pressure can be converted into additional static pressure rise through steady expansion of the air flow cross-section. This in turn may help to improve the overall amount of cooling air passing through the machine for a given fan input power.

Motor
In manufacturing a motor, a second protrusion of a lead bushing is inserted into a second through-hole in a bearing holder. A diameter increased portion on an upper end of the second protrusion fixes the lead bushing to the bearing holder. This configuration thus requires less dimensional accuracy as compared with a case where the lead bushing is press fitted to the bearing holder.
Assembly comprising a housing and a stator inserted inside said housing
The disclosed assembly comprises a housing and a stator inserted inside a cylindrical cavity in said housing. Said assembly comprises a means for point-to-point attachment of the stator to the housing.
