UNIQUE METHOD OF HARNESSING ENERGY FROM THE MAGNETIC DOMAINS FOUND IN FERROMAGNETIC AND PARAMAGNETIC MATERIALS
The present disclosure relates to a power generator and method of generating AC or DC power, including the removal of reverse torque and utilizing the electromagnetic coils of a generator stator to harvest the inherent energy available in the magnetic domains of ferromagnetic and paramagnetic materials of pole pieces of a generator rotor. The method comprises: determining an excitation cycle based on a target frequency of the power generator; executing the excitation cycle by providing a current to one or more wires of the generator according to a predefined sequence to align magnetic domains of the salient pole pieces of the generator rotor to produce an evolving magnetic flux field; and routing a resultant current, generated by the magnetic flux field, to a power output. Systems and apparatuses disclosed herein comprise means for carrying out the same.

SYNCHRONOUS GENERATOR WITH CONFIGURABLE MODALITY
Techniques and methods related to a multi-mode operation of a synchronous electrical generator. The synchronous generator is configurable in at least two modes: a grid-power mode and a power-generation mode. In the power-generation mode, electrical power is generated in response to power produced by a prime mover. In the grid-power mode, the rotor is in standstill mode, and the configurable rotor winding is configured to generate a plurality of AC magnetic fields. The system provides for seamless transfer of power between grid-power to power generation using an energy storage unit and associated power conditioning apparatus.
Method and apparatus for cooling a rotor assembly
A method and apparatus for a rotor assembly. The rotor assembly includes a rotor core having a rotatable shaft and defining at least one rotor post, a winding wound around the post that defines an end turn, and at least one coolant conduit defined in part by an end support and in a thermally conductive relationship with a portion of the winding.

An alternator with a longer stationary coil support or bobbin and rotor axial and components thereof are provided.
Hydride generation system
The present disclosure is directed to a system and a method for hydride generation. In some embodiments, the system includes an assembly for introducing hydride generation reagents into a mixing path or mixing container, where the assembly includes first chamber configured to contain a first hydride generation reagent and a second chamber configured to contain a second hydride generation reagent. A first plunger is configured to translate within the first chamber and cause a displacement of the first hydride generation reagent, and a second plunger is configured to translate within the second chamber and cause a displacement of the second hydride generation reagent. The assembly further includes base coupling the first plunger and the second plunger together.
High speed generator connection assembly
A rotor pack for a generator has an exciter rotor rotating with a shaft. A rectifier assembly is in electric communication with the exciter rotor to receive AC current and rectify the AC current into a DC voltage. Positive and negative busses extend from the rectifier assembly to a negative rail and a positive rail on a connection assembly. The negative rail is in contact with the shaft to provide a ground connection. The negative and positive rails are formed of a metal. The negative and positive rails are connected to a main field winding. A high speed generator is also disclosed.
SYNCHRONOUS GENERATOR OF A GEARLESS WIND TURBINE
