The present invention provides a fixative polymer derived from about 55-60% by weight of ethyl acrylate; about 30-50% by weight of (meth) acrylic acid; about 1-5% by weight of an associative monomer comprising a methacrylic ester with an oxyalkylated ethylenic unsaturation terminated by a hydrophobic, non-aromatic branched chain with 12 to 22 carbon atoms; and about 0.01-4% by weight of a cross-linking agent, personal care compositions comprising these fixative polymers and the use of these polymers in hair styling products.

The invention concerns a compound formed by functionalized micro- or nanoparticles associated covalently with rheology-modifying polymers. The invention is characterized in that the functionalized micro- or nanoparticles are functionalized micro- or nanoparticles of cerium oxide (CeO.sub.2) having a nominal diameter of between 1 and 1500 nm. The present disclosure relates to cosmetic compositions that provide immediate skin-tightening and long-lasting improvements to the skin for the treatment of, for example, eye bags, facial wrinkles, and other age-related skin imperfections. Cosmetic composition comprising a cationic surfactant, a fatty alcohol and two nonionic polymers The invention relates to a composition for the cosmetic treatment of keratin materials, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising one or more cationic surfactants, one or more fatty alcohols, one or more nonionic non-associative cellulose-based polymers and one or more nonionic associative polymers. The invention also relates to a cosmetic treatment process using this composition.

The present invention relates to a composition, preferably a cosmetic composition for a keratin substance, preferably skin, comprising: (a) at least one associative thickener; (b) at least one specific alkyleneoxide derivative; i(c) at least one nonionic surfactant, other than (b), with an HLB value of 13.0 or less; and (d) water. The composition according to the present invention can prevent soaping and can provide excellent texture, when used, while providing sufficient thickening or gelling effects.

The present invention relates to a composition in the form of an O/W emulsion, comprising: (a) at least one hydrocarbon-based block copolymer comprising at least one styrene block and at least one block comprising units chosen from butadiene, ethylene, propylene, butylene and isoprene or a mixture thereof, which are optionally hydrogenated; (b) at least one film-forming linear ethylenic polymer devoid of styrene; (c) at least one oil; and (d) water.
