Described are effervescent dissolvable solid structures having fibers formed from a composition comprising surfactant and water soluble polymeric structurant, having a total dissolvable solid structure density of from about 0.100 g/cm.sup.3 to about 0.380 g/cm.sup.3, having a surfactant dose of from about 0.5 to about 2.0 g, and a surfactant density of from about 0.1 g/cm.sup.3 to about 0.3 g/cm.sup.3. Also described are processes for manufacturing the Dissolvable Solid Structure.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising: (a) at least one oil; (b) at least one polyglyceryl fatty acid ester having an HLB of 8 to 11; (c) at least one anionic surfactant; (d) at least one acrylic thickener; and (e) water, wherein the specific gravity of the (a) oil(s) at 25° C. is more than 0.95, preferably more than 0.96 and more preferably more than 0.97. The composition according to the present invention can achieve a low viscosity but is stable. Also, the composition according to the present invention can provide a good texture such as a smooth feeling to the touch after application.

A semi-permanent colorant composition is provided that is exhibits excellent color deposit without heat or oxidative treatment, and resists fading throughout several washes.

Subject of invention is a self-emulsifying composition, intended for administration onto the skin, containing a biosurfactant, a cosurfactant and an oil phase, characterised in that the weight ratio of the bio surfactant, the cosurfactant and the oil phase is 0.01-96.99% by weight: 0.01-96.99% by weight: 3-70% by weight, respectively, where the bio surfactant is surfactin or its salt, and the cosurfactant is 2-(2-ethoxyethoxy)ethanol or cocamidopropyl betaine.

The subject application relates to topical preparations comprising polyalkoxylated polyols polyester with Guerbet acid. Compounds contained herein relate to polyalkoxylated polyol polyesters having a viscosity that allows a product to be poured, yet retained on a desired surface to which it is applied. A hair cleansing formulation is provided, comprising: a dermatologically acceptable vehicle; a dermatologically acceptable hair care cleansing surfactant; a dermatologically acceptable silicone; and a deposition aid polymer, wherein the deposition aid polymer is a tertiary amine functionalized dextran polymer, comprising a branched chain dextran polymer functionalized with tertiary amine groups; wherein the deposition aid polymer enhances deposition of the dermatologically acceptable silicone from the hair cleansing formulation onto mammalian hair.

A concentrate composition comprising: (a) at least 10 wt % of a glycol ester of a fatty acid; (b) at least one acyl alkyl isethionate surfactant of formula (I):

The present invention relates to a composition comprising (a) at least one biosurfactant; and (b) at least one carboxybetaine polymer. The composition according to the present invention can provide a stable deposition of the composition on keratinous substances, such as skin, scalp, and hair.

Compositions, kits, and methods for repairing bonds, for example, disulfide bonds, in hair or on the skin are disclosed. The compositions provide improved conditioning benefit for dry hair or moisturize the skin. The compositions also provide a long lasting moisturized feel and smooth feel to the skin or hair, without feeling greasy. The compositions contain one or more compounds that covalently bind at least two thiol groups in the hair or on the skin. Use of the binding compositions prevents reversion of the repaired bonds to their free thiol state, for at least one week or one month, or more, after a single application of the composition. A personal cleansing composition includes a surfactant system, wherein the surfactant system includes from 0.1% to 5% of a fatty acyl isethionate surfactant by weight of the composition; from 0.5% to 40% of a co-surfactant by weight of the composition; from 0.05% to 5% of a natural polysaccharide or a chemically modified natural polysaccharide by weight of the composition; wherein the personal cleansing composition includes a first and second phase, wherein the first phase is an isotropic and micellar surfactant phase; wherein the second phase is a polymer liquid crystalline phase; wherein the composition is free of alkyl sulfate and alkyl ether sulfate type of surfactants; wherein the composition exhibits a yield stress value τ.sub.y from 0.005 Pa to 3 Pa; and wherein the composition exhibits a flow viscosity from 3 Pa.Math.s to 100 Pa.Math.s at 25° C. at a shear rate of 1.5 s.sup.−1.
