The composite pigment can be prepared by a method comprising a step of subjecting the small particle and at least one inorganic solid UV filter and/or at least one coloring pigment to a mechanochemical fusion process such as a hybridizer process. The composite pigment can be advantageously used as a component for a cosmetic composition.
