Planar coil linear actuator and transducer

A planar coil linear actuator/transducer. A stack of individually driven planar coils are used. A common core passes through the center of the stack of coils. A mobile magnet resides in the core. The coils are selectively energized in order to drive the magnet as desired. It is possible to control both frequency and amplitude by controlling the motion of the magnet. In a preferred embodiment, each planar coil is created as a copper (or other conductive material) trace on a multi-layer printed circuit board.

AXIAL FLUX MOTOR FOR PERCUTANEOUS CIRCULATORY SUPPORT DEVICE

An axial flux motor includes a housing; a drive shaft disposed within the housing; at least one rotor; and at least one stator. The at least one rotor includes a diametrically-magnetized single pole pair magnetic ring having a rotor aperture defined through the center of the magnetic ring, where the drive shaft extends through the rotor aperture and where the at least one rotor is fixed to the drive shaft. The at least one stator includes a number of conductive windings and a stator aperture, where the drive shaft extends through the stator aperture and where the drive shaft is rotatable within the aperture. The at least one stator is configured to generate an axial magnetic field that causes the at least one rotor to rotate, thereby rotating the drive shaft.

A micro fan is provided. The micro fan includes a rotor and a stator. The stator includes a plurality of axial induced coil units and a circuit board. The axial induced coil units are respectively preformed as a plurality of stator magnetic pole units, and are coupled to the circuit board. At least one of the coil units includes a coil and insulation material. The insulation material is block-shaped and covers at least a portion of the coil, and the central axis of the coil is parallel to the shaft of the rotor.

A coil substrate includes a flexible substrate, and coils formed on the flexible substrate such that the coils are positioned substantially in a raw and that each coil has a center space and wirings surrounding the center space. The coils are formed such that each coil includes first wirings on a first surface of the flexible substrate, second wirings on a second surface of the flexible substrate on the opposite side with respect to the first surface, and via conductors penetrating through the flexible substrate and connecting the first and second wirings, and the coils are positioned such that a m-th coil has the second wirings positioned below the center space of a (m+1)-th coil and that a (m+2)-th coil has the first coils positioned on the center space of a (m+1)-th coil, where in is an integer equal to or greater than 1.

The coil wire extends to the first side in the axial direction and is connected to the circuit board. The coil guide includes a first portion guiding the coil wire along the axial direction, and a second portion which faces the motor and in which the first portion is opened. The second portion is a surface inclined to the first side in the axial direction toward an opening of the first portion. A width of the second portion as viewed from the axial direction decreases toward the opening of the first portion.

PERMANENT MAGNET GENERATOR EXPERIMENTAL DEVICE FOR SIMULATING ELECTROMECHANICAL CROSS AND COMPLEX FAULTS

A permanent magnet generator experimental device for simulating electromechanical cross and complex faults is disclosed. The device includes a base, a DC drive motor, a permanent magnet simulation generator, bearing seats, a stator short circuit wiring board and time relays. A certain degree of radial air-gap eccentricity is set by moving a stator and a stator winding, and then a stator short circuit is set by controlling time relays; or a certain degree of axial air-gap eccentricity is set by moving a stator and a stator winding, and then a stator short circuit is set by controlling time relays. According to the above settings, different degrees of electromechanical cross and complex faults are simulated as required. The present invention is reliable in solution and easy to realize, and can simulate different degrees of radial air-gap eccentricity faults, axial air-gap eccentricity faults, stator short circuit faults, and compound faults of air-gap eccentricity and stator short circuit of a generator and provide the possibility of research and experimental analysis of air-gap eccentricity faults, stator short circuit faults, and compound faults of air-gap eccentricity and stator short circuit.

The contact device (1) furthermore has feedthrough openings (5), through which the coil conductors (31) of the coils (3) can be guided such that at least one coil conductor (31) can be connected to a connection conductor (41). The contact carrier (4) moreover has fixing devices (6) at the feedthrough openings (5), which fixing devices are designed in such a way that at least one coil conductor (31) touches a connection conductor (41) at a contact surface (7) and the coil conductor (31), at this contact surface (7), applies a permanent force action to the connection conductor (41) via forces acting perpendicularly to the respective conductor axis, whereby mutually parallel-lying portions of the coil conductor (31) and the connection conductor (41) are pressed against each other at the common contact surface (7).
