Systems and methods for keeping various compounds stable in different ampoules in an applicator. Upon breaking open the ampoules, the compounds are mixed and applied. In one embodiment, the resulting mixture is a long lasting waterproof sunscreen for use on skin. In another embodiment, the resulting mixture applied one or more coatings to an article and may subsequently accomplish sustained release and/or transdermal deliver of a therapeutic.

Embodiments are directed to a stable composition comprising stabilized hydrogen peroxide and 2-propanol and applicators configured to store, dispense, and apply such stable compositions. Such compositions may be used to treat skin conditions such as warts, condyloma accuminatum, molluscum contagiosum, acrochordons, seborrheic keratosis, or a combination thereof. Some embodiments also describe take home compositions, in office compositions, over-the-counter compositions, and kits for the use of such compositions.

An aqueous liquid cosmetic material suitable for makeup cosmetic materials for eyeshadows, eyeliners, eyebrow makeup, mascaras, and the like that, even when containing a larger amount of a flaky pigment such as a glittering pigment than the known ones and made into a low-viscosity aqueous blending composition, can still greatly improve the intensity of lines drawn using the cosmetic material without causing aggregation or settling of the flaky pigment while also achieving an improved adhering property. The aqueous liquid cosmetic material is a cosmetic material accommodated in a pen-type applicator A having a brush 23 at an application portion, the aqueous liquid cosmetic material containing at least a flaky pigment A, 1 to 9 mass % of a flaky pigment B that is surface-treated with at least one type of crystalline cellulose, a dextrin, a thickening polysaccharide, emulsion particles containing 4 to 10 mass % of an acrylate copolymer in terms of solid content, and water.

Provided is a liquid cosmetic which can suitably be used for a liquid cosmetic applicator using a brush or a pen feed as an applying means and which has good water resistance and is excellent in an adhesive property to the skin. The liquid cosmetic comprises at least carbon black, water, 0.5 to 5% by mass of a dispersant comprising a film-formable resin, 2 to 15% by mass (in terms of a solid content) of a film-forming agent and 0.5% by mass or less of a surfactant, and a viscosity thereof measured at a temperature of 25 C. and a shear rate of 3.83 S.sup.1 by means of an ELD type viscometer falls in a range of 2 to 8 mPa.Math.s.

The present invention relates to a composition comprising: (a) at least one pigment; (b) at least one first copolymer of at least two monomers selected from (meth)acrylic acid, esters thereof, and salts thereof; (c) at least one second copolymer of styrene or -methylstyrene and of at least one monomer selected from (meth)acrylic acid, esters thereof, and salts thereof, wherein the weight ratio of the amount of the (c) second copolymer(s)/the amount of the (a) pigment(s) is 1.0 or more, preferably 1.5 or more, and more preferably 2.0 or more, and the composition comprises at least one non-ionic surfactant in an amount of 0.5% by weight or less, preferably 0.3% by weight or less, and more preferably 0.1% by weight or less, relative to the total weight of the composition, or the composition comprises no non-ionic surfactant. The composition according to the present invention is suitable for a keratin substance such as the skin and the surface of a mucous membrane, and can provide the keratin substance with enhanced or improved cosmetic effects, such as better concealing effects of the original color of the keratin substance, as well as long-lasting makeup effects.

The oily stick-shaped cosmetic includes (A) a solid oil, (B) a spherical powder having an average particle diameter of 1 to 50 m, (C) a volatile component, (D) a coating agent, and (E) a coloring material, and contains (A1) rice bran wax as the (A) component.

A pigment dispersion for aqueous cosmetic compositions and an aqueous cosmetic composition, the pigment dispersion comprising, at least an aluminum lake such as Red No. 40; at least one dispersant selected from polyorganic acids and salts thereof, and nonionic surfactants; and water and a water-soluble organic solvent.

Provided is an aqueous liquid cosmetic which does not cause aggregation and sedimentation of colorant particles even when the cosmetic contains a colorant composed only of an inorganic pigment such as an iron oxide pigment, which can highly improve the density of a drawn line, which can also improve fixation, and which is suitable as a makeup cosmetic such as an eyeshadow, an eyeliner, an eyebrow cosmetic, or a mascara. The aqueous liquid cosmetic of the first disclosure is a cosmetic stored in a pen-type applicator having a brush at an application portion, and contains at least an iron oxide pigment, a polyorganic acid or a polyorganic acid salt, emulsion particles containing acrylateacrylate copolymer, a nonionic surfactant, and an aqueous solvent.
