Methods and compositions for treating skin
The present disclosure generally relates to methods and compositions for treating skin. In some embodiments, the method uses an exfoliation tool. In some embodiments, the method uses an exfoliation tool together with selected skin care agents or compositions.
Retinaldehyde containing compositions and methods of use
This disclosure is directed to compositions comprised of retinaldehyde, one or more skin conditioning agents, and, optionally, one or more additional retinoids. This disclosure is directed. Embodiments are also directed to compositions comprised of retinaldehyde, one or more peptides, one or more skin conditioning agents, one or more calcium containing agents, and, optionally, one or more additional retinoids. Embodiments are also directed to compositions comprised of retinaldehyde, one or more peptides, one or more skin conditioning agents, one or more calcium containing agents, and, optionally, one or more additional retinoids. Additional embodiments disclose methods for treating the skin wherein a characteristic of the skin is improved, the characteristics include firmness, elasticity, fine lines and wrinkles, skin texture, dullness, dyschromia, skin tone, reduction or elimination of acne, and any combination thereof. This disclosure is also directed to kits used for treating the skin with the compositions described herein.
Tanning methods and articles therefor
The present disclosure relates method of tanning a person including applying a moisturizer to an applicator and applying a tanning solution to the applicator. The moisturizer and the tanning solution are applied to the applicator in separate steps. The applicator is then contacted onto the skin of a person to apply the moisturizer and tanning solution.
Transfer device and process for making up keratin materials
Process for making up an area of human keratin materials using a makeup device including a substrate having at least one transfer surface, and a coat of cosmetic colouring ink borne by the transfer surface and obtained by printing, using at least one digital printer, and a cosmetic coating comprising an oil borne by the transfer surface. The cosmetic coating is at least partially superposed on the coat of ink and laying above and/or below the coat of ink, and the process includes the step of simultaneously transferring onto the area to be made up all or part of the coat of ink and all or part of the coating superposed thereon.
THREE-STEP PROCESS FOR MIMICKING PLASTIC SURGERY RESULTS
A three-step process performs, with a derma roller, a plurality of movements along an area of intended rejuvenation of a human user. Furthermore, the three-step process applies, subsequent to the derma roller performance, a chemical compound to one or more patches of skin at the area of intended rejuvenation. Finally, the three-step process emits, subsequent to the application of the chemical compound, light toward the area of intended rejuvenation. The three-step process may be customized to a user based on a variety of factors (e.g., area of intended rejuvenation, age, skin sensitivity, or the like).
An Antiperspirant Composition
The present invention relates to an anti-perspirant (AP) composition that comprises conventional metal based AP actives, natural oil and a selective sulphur containing anti-oxidant that ensures that when such compositions are used on a body part e.g. the axilla there is minimal or no yellow coloured staining of the fabric which is worn by an individual through several use-wash-rinse-dry cycles.
AN ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITION
The present invention is in the field of antiperspirant compositions, in particular, compositions comprising antiperspirant actives. Disclosed is an aqueous antiperspirant composition comprising: (i) nanocrystalline cellulose with a length from 1 run to 300 nm and a diameter from 1 nm to 20 nm; and (ii) a cosmetically acceptable carrier, wherein the ionic strength of the composition is lower than 0.016; wherein said composition is not a pickering emulsion; wherein surface of said nanocrystalline cellulose comprises hydroxyl and sulfate groups, wherein said composition comprises from 1 to 20 wt % of said nanocrystalline cellulose based on total weight of the composition.
Connected photo-activatable formulation applicator
An applicator device includes a photo-active formulation assembly and a photo-dose assembly operably coupled to the photo-active formulation assembly. The photo-active formulation assembly includes one or a plurality of dispenser portions and one or more photo-activatable formulation reservoirs. The photo-active formulation assembly is operable to dispense a photo-activatable formulation from the one or more photo-activatable formulation reservoirs onto one or more regions of a biological surface. The photo-dose assembly includes at least one illuminator oriented to focus electromagnetic energy onto one or more focal regions of a biological surface. The focused electromagnetic energy is of a character and for a duration sufficient to photo-activate the photo-activatable formulation dispensed from the one or more photo-activatable formulation reservoirs.
AN ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to an anti-perspirant (AP) composition that comprises conventional metal-based AP actives, natural oil and select phenolic compounds that ensures that when such compositions are used on a body part e.g. the axilla there is minimal or no yellow coloured staining of the fabric which is worn by an individual through several use-wash-rinse-dry cycles.
CATALYTIC SYSTEMS INCLUDING A PEROXIDE FOR DELIVERY OF OXYGEN TO SKIN AND RELATED METHODS OF USE
Systems, applicators, and methods for producing oxygen in a skincare formulation are described. In one embodiment, a system includes a skincare formulation comprising a peroxide; and an applicator that carries a peroxide-decomposing catalyst. The peroxide-decomposing catalyst is configured to come in contact with the peroxide and decompose the peroxide to provide oxygen gas proximate to a skin of a user.
