The present invention relates to a shoe washing and sterilizing dryer for automatically washing, drying and sterilizing shoes such as sneakers, and so on, and more particularly, to a shoe washing and sterilizing dryer that is capable of allowing injection nozzles to spray a washing liquid to the form of fine particles into the surfaces of shoes and then allowing brushes to be rotatably moved up and down to perfectly wash the surfaces of the shoes, and also capable of allowing hot air generated from a heater to blow into the shoes and simultaneously allowing ultraviolet light to be irradiated onto the interiors of the shoes from UV lamps to perform both of drying and sterilizing processes for the shoes, thereby enhancing wearing comfort of the shoes and protecting a wearer from athlete's foot or various diseases.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DISINFECTING A VEHICLE INTERIOR
Disclosed are methods and apparatus for disinfecting an interior space in a vehicle such as an aircraft. A method includes determining critical levels of heated air in the interior space of the vehicle required to neutralize effects of at least one predetermined pathogen, providing an apparatus for supplying heated air and positioning the apparatus in the interior space, activating the apparatus to supply the heated air to achieve the determined critical levels of the heated air in the interior space of the vehicle, maintaining the achieved critical levels of the heated air in the interior space for a determined critical time period, and optionally cooling the interior space following completion of the disinfecting process. A disinfecting apparatus may include a heated air generator, blower, controller and optional humidity generator, and may be implemented as a cart for traversing an aisle.

A system includes a containment vessel configured to receive and retain equipment to be decontaminated. The system also includes a solar reflector configured to reflect solar energy towards the containment vessel in order to heat the containment vessel. The system further includes end supports configured to receive and retain the solar reflector and the containment vessel. The system also includes a base having or coupled to multiple side supports, where each side support is configured to contact and support a corresponding one of the end supports. In addition, the system includes one or more semi-transparent solar shades configured to reduce the solar energy reaching the solar reflector and the containment vessel.

In one example, the thermal disinfection device is for disinfecting an article susceptible to thermal damage, and comprises a receptacle dimensioned to hold the article; a heater; a plurality of thermal probes dimensioned and independently displaceable to measure a respective temperature; and a controller operable to receive respective temperature readings and control the heater so to maintain a temperature reading at or above a preset temperature for a corresponding preset time period suitable to disinfect the article without inflicting damage to the article.

The sterilization container includes an article storage cavity, an illumination device, a heating air duct, a microprocessor, and a memory.
