Method and system for wrapping ties in a facemask manufacturing process
An automated system and method wrap the fastening ties around the body of a continuous stream of facemasks in a facemask production line. The facemasks are oriented such that each facemask has a leading pair of ties and a trailing pair of ties extending from a body in a conveying direction of the production line. At a wrapping station in the production line, the facemask body is subsequently clamped to prevent rotation of the body. The leading and trailing pairs of ties are grasped with a rotation device at each side of the conveyor that rotates around the body to wrap the leading and trailing pairs of ties to wrap around the body.
METHOD FOR GRIPPING, MOVING AND RELEASING A PIECE OF CLOTH WITH A GRIPPER, AND A GRIPPER
A method for gripping, moving and releasing a piece of cloth with a gripper that is initially placed with opposed, movable, coherent, flexible surface parts in contact with the piece of cloth, and the surface parts are moved with respect to each other and with respect to the gripper in a gripping action, in order to pinch and hold on to the piece of cloth. The gripper with the piece of cloth pinched between the surface parts is moved to a different location, wherein the surface parts move in a reverse direction in order to release the piece of cloth. While in contact with the piece of cloth, the opposed surface parts are moved along a path which brings the surface parts both closer to each other and moves them in a direction away from the piece of cloth.
METHOD FOR SPLITTING COLLAR OR SLEEVE
Disclosed is a method for splitting a collar or a sleeve. Using nylon as a connecting thread guarantees the strength requirement of the connecting thread in a production process of a to-be-split semi-finished product and can dissolve the nylon via a splitting agent to split the collar or the sleeve. In the splitting agent, formic acid can dissolve the nylon and has no adverse effect to the collar and the sleeve; and a fog inhibitor can inhibit volatilization of the formic acid, so that the formic acid is acted on the nylon more effectively thus improving the utilization rate of the formic acid. The splitting agent is employed to directly act on a connecting thread of the collar or the sleeve, thus operation is convenient; and the connecting thread can be dissolved provided that the splitting agent contacts it for 1-2 s, thus splitting efficiency is high.

The facemasks are oriented such that each facemask has a leading pair of ties and a trailing pair of ties extending from a body in a conveying direction of the production line. At a wrapping station in the production line, the body is subsequently clamped with a clamping device of an automated robotic arm. The robotic arm is driven in the conveying direction while rotating the clamping device and body relative to a rotation axis through the body to cause the leading and trailing pairs of ties to wrap around the body. The robotic arm then deposits the facemask with wrapped ties onto the conveyor.

Automated process of manufacturing clothing
The purpose of this process is to remove the human contact of fabric in assembling products and producing clothing faster without several stations of production in different locations in the factor. In the past, a typical factor would sew individual pieces at one station and pass them along to different stages in the assembly process until its completed. However, this process is meant to eliminate it, improve efficiency, and productivity. This process will not include any human contact with fabric, less time in production, and the removal of products in different stations. The benefits of this enable a company to produce what they need as needed, instead of producing a factor's minimum. Furthermore, this process shortens the lead time to bring products to market faster. Finally, this process helps with cash-flow, which is essential in any business especially in manufacturing.
Parachute-folding tool and method to facilitate placement of a parachute into a deployment bag
A method and apparatus for facilitating folding and packing of a parachute into a deployment bag is a planar, semi-rigid, horizontally oriented rectangular fabric panel that is seamed or scored to fold at four or more junctures.
