SOLAR CABLE RETENTION CLIPS AND SYSTEMS
A cable retention clip can include at least one body defining at least two of cable retention channels that are arranged to have parallel channel axes. Each cable retention channel has an inlet opening extending a length of the respective cable retention channel so that a lateral cross-section of each cable retention channel forms a C-shape. Each cable retention channel can be separated from an adjacent cable retention channel by a cable separator. The body also defines at least a pair of the cable retention channels forming a ω shape. The cable retention channels can include two cable retention channels having the same size. A cable arrangement can include the cable retention clip and at least two solar cables. A solar installation can include the cable arrangement and at least one solar panel operably coupled with at least one of the solar cables.
SHADING APPARATUS WITH PANELS
A shading apparatus with panels configured to provide shade volume over time, reduce wind load, and optionally generate solar energy. The shading apparatus with panels has first panel and second panel arrays. The first panel array moves up and down using a ganging assembly and linear actuator. The second panel array is fixed opposite the first panel array. Both panel arrays are connected to a rotateable spindle and central post. The shading apparatus is configured to reduce wind load with offset panels that provide passages between the offsets. Embodiments include control logic with various modes, including a mode for orienting the panels orthogonal to the sun over a period of time.
Solar Module Mounting System
Systems and methods for mounting one or more framed solar modules are disclosed. A solar module mounting system can include a plurality of support members configured to support one or more framed solar modules above a mounting surface, such as the ground or the roof of a building. The support members can include rails formed from a rigid material, such as steel. The solar module mounting system can also include a plurality of attachment mechanisms each configured to secure a portion of a framed solar module to a portion of a respective one of the support members.
