Foldable solar power system
Foldable solar power systems are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a solar power system includes a support structure mounted to an intermediate bulk container (IBC) or other tank structure. A plurality of solar panels are mounted to the support structure. The support structure is movable between (a) a first configuration for storage and transport and (b) a second configuration for energy generation. In the first configuration, the solar panels are folded adjacent to a sidewall of the IBC. In the second configuration, the solar panels are opened/expanded and generally coplanar with one another. The solar panels can be aligned with a solar energy source in the second configuration to generate electrical energy. The IBC can be filled with a ballast material to anchor the solar panels in the second configuration.
Solar window construction and methods
Disclosed are novel forms of operable and fixed windows capable of at least one or more of: producing an electrical current utilizing a transparent or semi-transparent solar collecting coating or film on a pane, and selectively changing one or more of opacity and tint of one or more electrochromatic layers in the window. Some embodiments also disclose a robust scaffold assembly utilized to enclose the perimeter of the substrate and one or more transparent solar cells or electrochromatic layers, or transparent solar cells and electrochromatic layers. Various structural and electrical configurations are disclosed to satisfy the kinematic demands of operable windows. Wired and wireless configurations of the windows are contemplated as are self-powered versions whereby the transparent solar collector or wireless power powers the electrochromatic function. Also disclosed are self-powered and self-contained glaze units with wireless control or control from user interface controls on an indoor facing pane.
SOLAR POWER GENERATORS
A solar power generator has: a frame securable to an underwater ground surface; a shaft supported by the frame; a casing floatable on a body of water and movably mounted to the frame via the shaft, the casing rotatable relative to the frame about a first axis defined by the shaft; a photovoltaic cell array secured to the casing; and a motor operatively connected to the casing for rotating the casing about the first axis to orient the photovoltaic cell array towards a sun in function of an azimuth of the sun.

Solar Device
The disclosure provides a solar device. The solar device includes: a solar panel, having a first surface and a second surface arranged oppositely; and a support assembly, used to support the solar panel, herein the support assembly includes a support base and a support rod, the support base is arranged on the second surface, the support base is provided with an upper mounting hole and a lower mounting hole, the upper mounting hole and the lower mounting hole are arranged on the support base at intervals along a vertical direction, and the support rod may be selectively connected with the upper mounting hole or the lower mounting hole to adjust the inclination angle of the solar panel. Through a technical scheme provided by this disclosure, problems in an existing technology that the transportation is inconvenient and the power generation efficiency is low may be solved.

Fixed-tilt solar arrays and related systems
Fixed-tilt solar arrays constructed from screw anchors. In some cases, purlins are attached directly to truss legs. In others, they are attached to truss caps joining the free end of each truss leg. In still further ones, screw anchors are driven in rows and interconnected by a pair of hinged members, one of which provides a mounting plane for solar panels. Each screw anchor may serve as a connection point for the trailing hinged member of the first foundation and the leading hinged member of the next foundation. In still further cases, a hinged truss cap may be used to accommodate different tilt angles with the same foundation.

PORTABLE SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING A SOLAR PANEL
A portable system for mounting a solar panel includes a modular base defining a set of interconnecting components that assemble via a set of intra-assembly features into a portable base for a solar panel. The modular base includes lower and upper relief to provide passive ventilation to the interior of the modular base and recesses to accommodate a user's appendages during assembly, and ballast volumes to retain a non-rigid ballast to weight the module base holding it in place. The modular base includes adjustable panel retention structures to constrain solar panels of a range of dimensions and configured to carry moisture away from the solar panel. The modular base includes a set of latches and corresponding latch receivers to fix adjacent modular bases together at a fixed distance less than the width of a human hand to form an array.
