Vacuumed controlled level sensing liquid dispensing device
A gravity flow liquid disinfectant dispensing reservoir comprised of a tapered base and a neck portion that extends centrally from the reservoir. An aperture located on the bottom of the reservoir facilitates the dispensing of liquid (i.e., disinfectant) from the reservoir into a holding tank. In another embodiment, a closed system for dispensing a liquid disinfectant into a tank containing liquid (effluent) and controlled via vacuum. The gravity flow device introduces disinfectant to the tank as the water level rises, giving the ultimate amount of contact time for treatment of effluent. Utilizing gravity and vacuum controlled dispensing of disinfectant dispenses disinfectant continuously in real time and provides for maximum contact time for minimal pathogen survival.
Phosphoric acid free antimicrobial composition
A disinfectant concentrate devoid of phosphoric acid and method of using the concentrate. The concentration including a mixture containing: a) a major amount of hydrogen peroxide, b) a beta hydroxy acid, c) a minor amount of hydroxyalkane diphosphonic acid, one or more of a solvent and/or surfactant, and the balance water.
SANITIZATION SYSTEM
A plume cleaning system for a toilet is integrated with a toilet. In one example, a plume cleaner assembly adjacent to a toilet seat is independently removable with respect to the toilet seat. The plume cleaner assembly may include a plume cleaner, apertures, and a fan positioned to draw plume air through the plurality of apertures for treatment by the plume cleaner and expel the treated plume air out of the plume cleaner assembly in a direction at an angle to the apertures. In another example, a plume cleaner assembly with the toilet seat may include at least a fan, an electrostatic collector, and a mist generator. In another example, a plume cleaner assembly is integrated in a tank of the toilet to generate a sanitization fluid that is channeled into the toilet bowl through an overflow tube and/or rim channels.
Bag Disinfection
A bag for sterilizing and disinfecting personal items is provided, comprising: a) a first layer comprising an environmentally friendly degradable plastic linoleum; b) a second layer comprising a plate of flexible glass fiber insulation or any suitable insulator, wherein the insulation or suitable insulator provides insulation and support for the first layer and is preferably environmentally friendly and biodegradable; and c) a third layer comprising a disinfectant wet wipe wetted with: i) one or more disinfectants approved by the World Health Organization; or ii) water and one or more extracts from fruits and/or herbs; wherein the bag is configured to enable a user to rub one or more personal items placed inside the bag from outside the bag, thereby sterilizing and disinfecting the one or more personal items without the need for the user to touch the one or more personal items. Methods for sterilizing and disinfecting a personal item are also provided.
Bag Disinfection
A bag for sterilizing and disinfecting personal items is provided, comprisinga layer comprising a disinfectant wet wipe, alone or in combination with another layer comprising an environmentally friendly degradable plastic linoleum, particularly wherein the wet wipe comprises cotton or tree fibers and is wetted with: i) one or more disinfectants approved by the World Health Organization; or ii) water and one or more extracts from fruits and/or herbs; wherein the bag is configured to enable a user to rub one or more personal items placed inside the bag from outside the bag, thereby sterilizing and disinfecting the one or more personal items without the need for the user to touch the one or more personal items. Methods for sterilizing and disinfecting a personal item are also provided.
Open-Cell Foam Based Pathogen Remediation
An open-cell foam structure that is impregnated with a disinfectant and used to remove pathogens from air, water, and surfaces, and kill the pathogens
Conveying apparatus, sterilization apparatus having a conveying apparatus, method for advancing and method for sterilizing receptacle closures
There is described a sterilization apparatus for sterilizing receptacle closures, the apparatus including a conveying device for the receptacle closures along an advancement path comprising a guide track defining and/or delimiting the advancement path and an advancement unit adapted to advance the receptacle closures along the advancement path. The advancement unit comprises an endless track, a plurality of cart assemblies moveably coupled to the endless track and configured to interact with one or more receptacle closures coupled to the guide track, an actuation assembly configured to control advancement of the cart assemblies along the endless track. Each cart assembly comprises a cart moveably coupled to the endless track and at least an engagement element coupled to the respective cart and configured to engage with one or more receptacle closures for advancing the one or more receptacle closures along the advancement path.
Method and apparatus for disinfection of a temperature control device for human body temperature control during extracorporeal circulation
The present application relates to a method for disinfection of a temperature control device for human body temperature control during extracorporeal circulation which temperature control is conducted by use of a heat exchanger and a temperature control liquid circulating through the heat exchanger and the temperature control device. According to the present application, the temperature control device is connected to a temperature control liquid supply and, during operation of the temperature control device for human body temperature control, a disinfectant is selectively added to the temperature control liquid supply upstream of the temperature control device.
METHOD FOR PREPARING BIOLOGICAL TISSUE FOR SURGICAL IMPLANTATION
The present invention relates to a method for treating biological tissue and a biological tissue obtained by the treatment method, and specifically to a method for treating biological tissue so as to suppress the calcification, risk of biofilm adherent over pericardium and strength reduction of the tissue due to treatment. The invention is also directed to bioprosthesis and transcatheter heart valves containing the biological tissue.
IONIC OXIDATION REFRESHING SYSTEM AND METHOD
An ionic oxidation refreshing system for refreshing an odorized item, comprising an enclosure with an airflow system to contact the odorized item on all sides; an ionization system that produces a positively charged ionized ozone gas mixture inside of the enclosure, killing germs, including odor-causing bacteria, viruses, molds, and fungus, and provides the odorized item inside the enclosure with a net positive charge; a filter that neutralizes and filters out any toxic by-products; an electrostatic liquid atomization system that creates a fine mist of a quick-cleaning solution, and, in conjunction with the airflow system, causes solution droplets to penetrate deep into the odorized item and agitate a surface of the odorized item, ensuring the formula is evenly delivered onto the odorized item without over saturating any area.
