Method for sterilising and sterilising device
The present invention relates to a method for sterilizing at least one object, wherein the object is exposed to a sterilization agent, wherein at least one first support pressure and at least one second support pressure are applied and wherein a sterilization of a first region of the object takes place by the sterilization agent at the first support pressure and a sterilization of a second region of the object takes place at the second support pressure. The present invention furthermore relates to a sterilizing apparatus and to a use herefor.
Peracetic acid type sterilizing composition solution and method for sterilizing containers
A peracetic acid type sterilizing composition solution containing peracetic acid, acetic acid, hydrogen peroxide and catalase enzyme, wherein said sterilizing solution has a pH in a range of 2.6 to 5.0, said catalase enzyme is contained in an amount of 0.1 to 10 μg/ml, the concentration of said peracetic acid is 500 to 10,000 ppm, and the concentration of said hydrogen peroxide is less than 500 ppm. The concentration of the hydrogen peroxide can be efficiently decreased due to the catalase enzyme that is added in small amounts thereby suppressing the bubbling caused by the addition of the catalase enzyme.
PREVENTION OF DISEASES IN HONEYBEES AND REDUCTION OF PESTICIDE RESIDUES IN BEESWAX
A beeswax and/or beehive or bee keeping equipment surface is treated with a composition containing at least one solvent, at least one surfactant and at least one oxidizing agent (e.g., peroxide), optionally also containing other components such as an oxidizing agent activator, a viscosifying agent, an enzyme and/or a pH control agent, to reduce the amount of pesticide residues on the beeswax surface and/or disinfect against any bacterial, viruses, and fungi infestation.
LID TRANSPORT CONVEYOR AND A TRANSPORT AND DECONTAMINATION MACHINE
A lid transport conveyor including a frame, a first pulley and a second pulley that are carried by the frame, a device for driving the first pulley in rotation, an endless conveyor belt mounted between the first pulley and the second pulley, a slide profile carried by the frame, the slide profile including a suction groove whose open side directly faces a main face of the conveyor belt, a pump capable of drawing air through the suction groove, conveyor belt including a through-orifice positioned in line with the suction groove during movement of the conveyor belt; a lid being held by suction in contact with a face of the conveyor belt that is opposite to the main face, when the orifice is directly opposite the suction groove.
METHOD FOR DISINFECTION OF ITEMS AND SPACES
This disclosure provides a method of disinfecting a surface within an area, comprising the steps of: a) dispersing into the area a multiplicity of droplets of a first aqueous composition comprising a first iodine reactant compound that is either a peroxide compound or an iodine salt compound: b) allowing sufficient time for the first aqueous composition to distribute throughout the area, and to deposit and coalesce into a layer upon the surface: c) dispersing into the area a multiplicity of droplets of a second aqueous composition comprising a second iodine reactant compound that is the other of the first iodine reactant compound, and: d) again allowing sufficient time for the droplets of the second aqueous composition to deposit onto the coalesced layer of the first aqueous composition, thereby forming iodine and other iodine biocides in situ and disinfecting the surface.
STERILIZATION DEVICE AND METHODS
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to devices and methods for sterilizing equipment. More particularly, one or more embodiments described in the present disclosure are directed to portable devices for sterilizing medical equipment in emergency situations. The sterilization devices and method of the present disclosure address an unmet need for sterilizing surgical equipment in a manner that is not only effective and time-efficient, but is also portable and reliable enough to use in emergency medical situations in remote locations where modern sterilization equipment is not available.
PERFORMIC ACID BIOFILM PREVENTION FOR INDUSTRIAL CO2 SCRUBBERS
Peroxyformic acid compositions for removal of biofilm growth and other contaminants and impurities from industrial processing hard surfaces are disclosed. In particular, peroxyformic acid compositions may be dosed on site and/or generated in situ for the reduction and prevention of biofilms on the hard surfaces. Methods of employing the peroxyformic acid compositions for removal of biofilm growth and other impurities such as aldehydes and alcohols from industrial CO.sub.2 effluent are also disclosed which beneficially provide ambient biofilm control and break down more rapidly than other peracids, allowing for extended runs between CIP cleaning, including a reduction and/or elimination of cleaning of the scrubbers and other industrial surfaces.
Packaging and transportation kit for hydrogen peroxide or other chemical product used in sterilization or disinfection equipments and respective supplying system
The present invention refers to a Packaging and transportation kit for hydrogen peroxide or other chemical products used as sterilizing or disinfecting agents in sterilization or disinfection equipment that prevents leakage of the product. It also refers to the respective supplying system. The referred packaging and transportation kit comprises a primary recipient or a set of primary recipients (1, 12) made of material that is compatible with the chemical product used; a sealing membrane or nano-membrane (2.1); a separation membrane or nano-membrane (2.2) of the primary recipient (1, 12) that divides it into different parts; with or without a capsule (3) with one or more holes; a super absorbent material (4.1) applied around the recipient(s) (1); an absorbent material (4.2) that can be inserted in the interior of the recipient (1) together with the liquid; a chip/RFID with memory and/or color code system, and/or a barcode system, and/or a QR code system; a temperature and/or humidity indicator (6, 6.1); a leakage indicator (7); and an external packing of resistant material (8).
Synergistic disinfection enhancement
An aqueous disinfectant solution comprising peroxyacetic acid and a surfactant such as a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether phosphate, (polyethylene glycol p-(1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl)-phenyl ether) or cocoamidopropylamino oxide. The solution is preferably adjusted to provide a pH in the range 5-8 by a pH adjusting agent such as a phosphate buffer; hydroxide; carbonate; bicarbonate; a combination of carbonate and hydroxide; or a combination of carbonate and bi carbonate.
