Disinfection device for connectors
A device for disinfecting catheter connectors comprising a container (2) having a closed lower base end (2b) and an opposite open upper end (2a) and a sponge-like element (3) inserted inside the container (2), impregnated with a liquid medical substance (4). The sponge-like element (3) has an axial through cavity (5) within it and a semi-rigid insert (6) housed in the cavity (5).
Toilet Bowl Disinfectant Tissue
A sanitary cleaning disinfectant tissue is comprised of but not limited to natural or synthetic fibers bonded together and impregnated with sanitizing chemicals including but not limited to surfactant, sodium hypochlorite, ammonia, leaf protein concentrate, glycerin, fragrance, and citric acid uniformly distributed therein by applying a predetermined quantity of treating fluid to any portion of the non-treated material, which is operable for cleaning the inside toilet bowl or similar submerged surfaces. The material can be interwoven and impregnated with a crystal non-aqueous agent which creates a film that adheres to the bowl.
Antimicrobials and methods of use thereof
This disclosure provides generally for antimicrobial compositions and methods of use comprising an anthocyanin, an anthocyanidin or metabolites thereof. Methods for promoting healing of a wound using these compositions are also disclosed. These compositions have broad spectrum antimicrobial activity and are safe for human and animal uses. Further, these compositions are safe for medical uses and industrial uses as antiseptic preparations to reduce or prevent microbial growth, including killing bacterial biofilms.
DISINFECTING AQUEOUS FOAM, PROCESS FOR PREPARING SAME AND USE THEREOF
The present invention relates to a foam consisting of a dispersion of gas bubbles in a foaming solution comprising, per litre of solution, (i) from 0.05 to 1.5% by weight of one or more foaming organic surfactant(s), (ii) from 0.05% to 0.8% by weight of one or more organic gelling or viscosifying agent(s), (iii) from 1% to 14% by volume of one or more disinfecting agent(s) and (iv) water, said foam having an expansion between 12.5 and 50. The present invention also relates to the use of such a foam for biological decontamination.

Liquid-dispensing pad
A liquid-dispensing pad has a perforated generally elastic film forming a front wall, a liquid-impervious plastic rear wall, a weld peripherally securing the front wall to the rear wall, and a liquid-retaining core between the front and rear walls. The perforated film is a coextruded film having an elastic inner layer turned toward the core and an inelastic outer cover layer turned away from the core. This cover layer forms an outer face of the liquid-dispensing pad and is composed of polyolefin. A thickness of the cover layer is less than 15 m, and a thickness ratio of the elastic inner layer to the inelastic outer cover layer is at least 10:1.
