Discharge device and electric machine
Provided is a discharge device that can improve the efficiency of generating reactive species. The discharge device includes a discharging unit, which has a tip end and discharges from the tip end in response to an application of a voltage, an induction electrode, which forms an electric field between the induction electrode end the discharging unit, and a second electrode, which is disposed between the discharging unit and the induction electrode and receives a voltage having a polarity the same as a polarity of the voltage applied to the discharging unit.
COMBINING AIR CLEANING METHODS FOR IMPROVED ANTI-CONTAMINANT EFFICACY AND AIR CLEANING ARRAYS
Methods and systems described perform air cleaning and/or sanitization in a heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and/or refrigeration (HVACR) system by detecting a concentration of airborne contaminants in a space serviced by the HVACR system. The detected concentration of airborne contaminants is determined whether it exceeds a threshold relative to a capacity of a first air cleaner. When the detected concentration of airborne contaminants exceeds the threshold, a second air cleaner is selected and enabled to be activated in the space. When the detected concentration of airborne contaminants does not exceed the threshold, the first air cleaner is selected and enabled to be activated in the space. The first air cleaner has a cleaning material different from the second air cleaner, and the first air cleaner, relative to the second air cleaner, treats the space at a lower concentration of airborne contaminants. The second air cleaner includes specifically designed cleaner modules.
ISOLATOR AND METHOD FOR STERILIZING SAME
There is provided an isolator that is capable of improving work efficiency by shortening a sterilization time, and that is capable of securing a sterility assurance level. An isolator, in which a circulation fan above a work room supplies clean air to the work room via a HEPA filter, includes: the work room; a front door provided in a front surface of the work room; a glove provided in the front door; and an air supply unit that causes an air supply HEPA filter to clean air taken in from an air supply airtight damper, and that causes an air supply fan to supply the clean air into the isolator, when work is performed. When a sterilization gas is removed, the air supply unit is configured such that the air supply fan circulates the air inside the isolator through a sterilization gas-removing catalyst.
AUTONOMOUS MOBILE DISINFECTING AND DEODORIZING SYSTEM AND METHOD
The various embodiments of herein provide a system and a method for autonomous and contextual disinfection and deodorization of an environment. The system is also configured to provide a constant energy radiation of UV. The sweeping motors in the system enable covering maximum area for disinfection without moving the whole system. The system is configured with Ultraviolet (UV) radiation unit, which provides a constant radiation of energy for pre-set time duration. The UV radiation unit comprises a plurality of reflective mirror surfaces that are designed to rotate about their axis. The system is configured to identify, in real-time, the requirement of the disinfection and accordingly move to the location to disinfect and/or rotate the reflective mirror surfaces to enable effective disinfection of the environment. The system is also configured with ozone generator to provide deodorization of an environment.
FRAGRANCE DISPENSER WITH USER-SELECTABLE RELEASE RATE
A fragrance dispenser including at least one receptacle having a major open end, with a porous diffuser layer occlusively overlying the major open end of the receptacle. At least a sectional area of the porous diffuser layer is removable.
DEVICE FOR THE GENERATION OF OZONE
A device for the generation of ozone, comprising: at least one ozone-producing cell equipped with an inlet and with an outlet and adapted to convert into ozone at least a part of the oxygen contained in an aeriform stream of environment air that passes through it from said inlet towards said outlet, at least one conveying duct configured to convey environment air towards the inlet of the ozone-producing cell, a filtering arrangement placed along said conveying duct to filter the environment air before it reaches the ozone-producing cell, wherein said filtering arrangement comprises a granular filter comprising at least silicate granules.
COMPOSITION FOR THE PREVENTION AND ELIMINATION OF ODORS
Articles can be provided with odor resistance by applying a dispersion of a halogenated heterocyclic N-halamine in an inert liquid carrier onto the surface of the article and allowing the inert liquid carrier to penetrate into it. The N-halamine accordingly becomes deposited on the surface of the article after the inert liquid carrier penetrates into the article. This method can be used to provide odor resistance to a variety of substrates, including garbage bags. It can also be used to deposit other functional particulates onto the surface of substrates having sufficient porosity to take up the vehicle. For instance, such functional particles can be oxidants that display antimicrobial and/or enzyme inhibitory efficacy or particles having toxin interaction potentials through oxidative degradation or adsorption of toxic substances in air and/or water, such as fluoride uptake by metal oxide microparticles.
DEVICE FOR CLEANING AND STERILIZING AIR AND OBJECT SURFACES
Provided is a device that uses ozone, hydrogen peroxide, and hydroxyl radicals to sterilize, detoxify and purify indoor air, while simultaneously removing radon gas. The device is provided with a condensing unit (10) having a Peltier structure, and further provided with a device (2) that discharges electricity and generates ozone. The device further has an ultraviolet lamp (9) and a titanium dioxide coating for creating a titanium dioxide physical environment. The device is also provided with generation boxes (3, 5). Ultrasonic waves are used to electrolyze a liquid, such as water, hydrogen peroxide or oxygen, in the generation boxes (3, 5), so as to further generate hydroxyl radicals.
Method and device for enhancing the reduction of pathogens, allergens and odor-causing agents
Disclosed are methods and apparatus that help reduce and prevent infection by controlling and/or reducing the level of contaminants, which include pathogens, allergens and/or odor-causing agents including VOCs. Photocatalytic oxidation is performed in a high humidity environment so that hydrogen peroxide molecules are readily produced.
