HEADPIECE, FACE SHIELD AND METHOD OF USING A HEADPIECE
20230191169 · 2023-06-22 ·

A headpiece (1) worn by a user provides air to the user from which airborne disease particles have been removed. The headpiece includes an air guide (2) through which air flows due to fans (13, 14). Antibacterial and/or antiviral devices (3) such as filters and ultraviolet (UV) disinfecting lights operate as air purifiers to purify air that passes through the air guide. The purified air is delivered to an area between the inside surface of a visor (10) and a face (11) of the person wearing the headpiece.

SHOE CARE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THEREOF

A shoe care apparatus including a chamber including an air inlet and an air outlet; a first duct connected to the air outlet and having an evaporator and a condenser arranged inside; a second duct connected to the first duct and the air inlet; a holder arranged in the chamber and connected to the air inlet; a fan configured to circulate air through the first duct, the second duct, the holder, the chamber; a compressor configured to discharge a refrigerant to the condenser; a first temperature sensor configured to measure a first temperature of air heated by the condenser; and a controller configured to determine a target temperature of the heated air based on the user input, operate the compressor at the operation frequency based on the target temperature and outside air temperature, and control the operation frequency of the compressor based on the target temperature and the first temperature.

SCENT CONTROL ACCORDING TO LOCAL CONDITIONS OF A SCENT CONTROL DEVICE
20220382232 · 2022-12-01 ·

Devices, systems, and methods to selectively emit scent control material responsive to local conditions of a scent control device. The local conditions may dictate the effectiveness of a given set of output parameters of a scent control device. The scent control device accepts as input, one or more conditional inputs carrying information about the local conditions around the scent control device, such as weather conditions, elevation, barometric pressure, or functional status of the scent control device. Operational programs corresponding to the conditional inputs may be automatically selected based on the combination of conditional inputs to cause the output parameters of the scent control device to match or take into account the local conditions. The scent control device then outputs scent control material such as ozone at a rate effective to control one or more scents to a level that is not perceivable by animals or humans.

DEVICE CONTROL SYSTEM, WEARABLE DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, FRAGRANCE MATERIAL EJECTION METHOD, AND DEVICE CONTROL METHOD

A device control system including a wearable device and a server. The wearable device includes a device that ejects a fragrance material, a biological sensor, and a computer. The computer transmits biological data to the server, receives a first control signal, and causes the device to eject a fragrance material upon receipt of the first control signal. The server includes a computer. The computer receives the biological data, estimates users emotion from the received biological data, and in a case where it is determined that the user has positive emotion by using a result of the estimation, (i) transmits the first control signal to the wearable device and (ii) transmits, to an aroma device, a second control signal for causing the aroma device to eject a fragrance material at a predetermined timing.

SYSTEMS AND TECHNIQUES FOR GENERATING SCENT

Described herein are systems and techniques for generating odor impressions of scents. Some embodiments provide odor impressions in an extended reality (XR) environment (e.g., virtual reality (VR) and/or augmented reality (AR)). The system determines spatial characteristics of an odor impression that is to be generated in the XR environment. The system generates one or more commands for generating the odor impression based on the spatial characteristics. The system transmits the command(s) to a controller for execution. The controller may control dispersal of scented media to generate the odor impression.

Bias Setting in a Scent Delivery System
20230185265 · 2023-06-15 ·

A scent delivery system includes scent delivery units that are configured to deliver scent at a variable scent level by being turned on and off successively according to a variable duty cycle. The scent delivery system also includes a central controller configured to control the scent delivery units by generating command data based on a scenting schedule that indicates a desired activation time for more than one scent delivery unit. The scenting schedule is configured to further indicate a scent level bias to be applied to base scent settings that are associated with different scent delivery units. The central controller is configured to generate the command data, based upon a variation in the scent level bias, that takes into account a corresponding variation to duty cycles associated with different scent delivery units and to communicate the command data to the different scent delivery units.

Odor Mitigating Media Caddy

An odor mitigating caddy includes first and second frame members each having opposed front and rear edges, respective rear edges being pivotally coupled together with a living hinge such that the frame members are selectively movable between a closed configuration at which the front edges, respectively, are generally adjacent one another and an open configuration at which the front edges, respectively, are separated from one another. The first and second frame members are defined by peripheral edges and include first and second grate members extending between respective peripheral edges, respectively. A porous odor mitigating sheet is held between the frame and grate members. First and second frame members include aligned first and second hook members so that the caddy is selectively suspended from a closet rod or the like.

DEFUSE DEODORIZING DEVICE
20170350109 · 2017-12-07 ·

A deodorizing device for a toilet that includes: a housing; an oil container within the housing; an attachment means at the top of the housing; a container release point at the bottom of the oil container; tubing extending from the container release; and a release orifice at a distal end of the tubing. The attachment means may include hooks, where the hooks secure the housing onto a toilet tank. The oil container is preferably a capsule like device that is detachable from the housing. The deodorizing device may further include a toilet connector, where said toilet connector connects the tubing to the underside of a toilet seat.

Product dispensing system

A product dispensing system includes a housing that has a sidewall with at least one orifice and at least one protrusion in alignment with the at least one orifice. An exterior surface of the at least one protrusion provides a visual contrast in color, texture, or surface finish that differs from that of an exterior surface of the sidewall adjacent the orifice.
