The present invention relates to a device for applying medical and cosmetic radiation to a human body or to parts thereof. Said radiation is preferably optical radiation. The device according to the invention comprises at least one first illuminant for producing the medical and cosmetic radiation. The device also comprises a first air flow for cooling an illuminant and a second air flow for cooling the human body or parts thereof. The device comprises at least one air-conditioning system, which is fluidically connected to the second air flow and designed for the air-conditioning treatment of the air flow. The device is characterized in that the device also has at least one disinfecting chamber, which is fluidically connected to the second air flow and is designed to physically disinfect the second air flow. The invention also relates to a method for operating such a device and to a corresponding disinfecting chamber.

In one aspect, a device includes a cartridge structured to include one or more chambers containing one or more scented substances contained in a corresponding chamber, a housing structured to include a compartment to hold the cartridge, an opening to allow the scented sub stances to dispense to an outer environment from the device, and one or more transporting channels formed between the compartment and the opening, in which each of the one or more transporting channels is configured to accelerate a scented substance from the corresponding chamber to the opening, and an actuator switch arranged in a corresponding transporting channel and operable to move between an open position and a closed position based on an applied signal to selectively allow passage of the scented substance from the corresponding transporting path.

The fragrance dispenser can include a cartridge that is configured to engage with the core unit. The cartridge can include an impeller and a fragrant material. The fragrance dispenser can have a motor that drives the impeller, thereby dispersing the fragrance. The cartridge can be configured to disengage from the connection unit, such as when the cartridge reaches a depleted state.

An apparatus for delivering a volatile material in a continuous manner is disclosed. The device includes a bottle for storing a liquid attractant and is configured to be sealed by a lid. An internal hemp rope is affixed to an interior of the bottle and extends through the interior of the bottle to connect to the lid. A paracord is attached to the lid for hanging the lid on a fixed surface. When the lid is unscrewed, the bottle and the lid are connected through the hemp rope and the hemp rope absorbs the liquid attractant such that a scent is distributed or diffused from the hemp rope when the lid is unscrewed.
