Electric Light Radiant Energy Control Systems
Radiant energy control systems, methods, and apparatuses are provided. An example light emitting device may comprise a sensor operable to detect whether a space is occupied, and a controller in communication with the sensor and operable to cause output, via a first light emitter white light comprising a wavelength range of 380 to 420 nm, and cause output, via a second light emitter a non-white light comprising a wavelength range of 380 to 420 nm.
DISINFECTION DEVICE HAVING DISINFECTION LIGHT SOURCE
A disinfection device includes: a container having a wall that defines a chamber for containing liquid therein; and a light source for transmitting disinfection light to the liquid. The light source is in a spatial relationship with the container so that a distance between the light source and the first light receiving surface of the liquid remains unchanged regardless of a volume of the liquid.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING DEVICE FOR ELECTRONIC ITEMS
The present disclosure provides an apparatus for disinfecting and cleaning an electronic item.
Contact Lens Cleaner
A contact lens cleaner device which can be used to clean contact lenses from debris and bacteria. The contact lens cleaner device pumps contact lens solution into reservoirs where contact lenses can be placed. The contact lenses rotate within the reservoirs and debris falls into a filter, as the contact lens solution continues to be pumped through the device. UV-lighting kills bacteria and cleanses the contact lenses in the reservoirs.
Cleaning and disinfecting cradle for head worn items
Some embodiments of the present disclosure include a disinfecting/cleaning box for disinfecting and cleaning a head worn item. The disinfecting/cleaning box may include a chamber having an inner volume sufficient to accommodate the head worn item; and an ultraviolet (UV) light source provided in the chamber, wherein the UV light source is disposed to shine UV light onto a surface of the head worn item.
Devices for cleaning contact lenses
A device for cleaning a contact lens includes a lid, a base portion and a drawer unit detachably coupled to the base portion. The drawer unit includes a container holding a volume of fluid therein. The device also includes a vibration generator for generating an oscillatory motion on the container, where the oscillatory motion induces turbulence in the fluid with sufficient force to dislodge deposits from a lens immersed in the fluid. The device also includes a circuit board secured to the base portion and a light source for generating radiation to disinfect the dislodged deposits in the fluid. A suspension secures the light source to the circuit board and a resonance frequency of the suspension is offset from a frequency of the oscillatory motion.
CLEANING AND DISINFECTING CRADLE FOR VIRTUAL REALITY VISORS
Some embodiments of the present disclosure include a disinfecting/cleaning box for disinfecting and cleaning a virtual reality (VR) visor. The disinfecting/cleaning box may include a box body having an inner volume sufficient to accommodate the visor; a lid attached to the box body; a plurality of vents extending through walls of the box body; an air jet nozzle extending from at least one of the walls towards an interior of the box body; a pressurized air tube attached to the air jet nozzle, the pressurized air tube configured to provide pressurized air to be dispersed through the air jet nozzle toward the interior of the box body; and at least one ultraviolet (UV) light emitting diode (LED) attached to an inner surface of the wall, the UV LED configured to emit UV light toward the interior of the box body.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR STORING, PRESERVING AND CLEANING CONTACT LENSES
An apparatus for storing, preserving and cleaning contact lenses includes a base housing; one or more lens bowls transparent to selected ranges of UV and IR light wavelengths; UV and IR light sources to direct UV and IR light into the lens bowls; a removable cover opaque to the UV light; one or more closure sensors to sense the status of the cover; a power supply; and, a controller in control communication with the UV and IR light sources, the power supply and the closure sensors, the controller causing the UV and IR light sources to cease emitting when the cover is not closed.
