Scar reduction bandage
The invention relates to an easy-to-use scar reduction bandage (or sticking plaster), that can be used in the case of hypertrophic scars and keloids. The invention offers a qualitatively even treatment over months by the permanent pressure achieved by the integrated scar bandage and spring. The effect can be strengthened or altered by the differing materials of upper and lower carrier sheets. Likewise, and at the same time, a supplemental treatment can be initiated by so-called storage structures in the base of the spring.
Wound dressing system
A wound dressing containing a multi-ply knit fabric, where the fabric contains a first and a second knit ply. The first knit ply contains a plurality of first yarns and forms the upper surface of the fabric. The second knit ply contains a plurality of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) yarns, where the PTFE yarns have a transmission in the IR region of 8-10 μm at least about 40%, and a thermal conductivity of at least about 0.2 W/(m.Math.K) forms the lower surface of the fabric. The first ply and the second ply are integrated through combined portions formed by interlacing first yarns among the PTFE yarns of the second knit ply, interlacing PTFE yarns among the first yarns of the first knit ply, or interlacing a plurality of third yarns among the first yarns and the PTFE. The multi-ply knit fabric also contains a composition containing at least one silver ion-containing compound.

ELASTIC FIBER AND FIBER STRUCTURE COMPRISING THE SAME
An elastic fiber of the present invention having an elastic fiber treatment agent attached to the fiber surface, comprises: a hydrocarbon resin (A) having a structure in which a polymer including a structural unit whose monomer is at least one selected from aromatic olefins and aliphatic diolefins as the main structural unit is partially or fully hydrogenated; and a hydrocarbon oil (B). In this way, an elastic fiber and a fiber structure comprising the same are provided that are suitable for obtaining an elastic sheet that has excellent elastic fiber unraveling properties and adhesiveness to hot melt adhesives, and that exhibits good adhesiveness even when processed at a high draft, and for obtaining a sanitary product that is soft to the touch.

SUPERABSORBENT MATERIAL ABSORBENT CAPACITY INCREASE WITH USE OF SELECTED SALTS
The present invention discloses a method for increasing absorbent capacity of a superabsorbent material (SAM) by treating the SAM with a selected salt or a combination of such salts. The selected salt(s) may interact with the polymer chain of the SAM through one or more absorbent capacity enhancement mechanisms. The absorbent capacity enhancement mechanism(s) between selected salt(s) and the SAM may lead to greater absorbent capacity of the SAM.
