Certain embodiments provide methods and systems for managing a sound profile. An example playback device includes a network interface and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium having stored therein instructions executable by the processor. When executed by the processor, the instructions are to configure the playback device to receive, via the network interface over a local area network (LAN) from a controller device, an instruction. The example playback device is to obtain, based on the instruction, via the network interface from a location outside of the LAN, data comprising a sound profile. The example playback device is to update one or more parameters at the playback device based on the sound profile. The example playback device is to play back an audio signal according to the sound profile.

Multi-channel volume level equalization based on user preferences

Systems, devices, and methods are provided for multi-stem volume equalization, wherein the volume levels of each stem may be adjusted non-uniformly. Audio may be diarized into a plurality of stems, including background noise separate. Mean and variance of the volume levels of the stems may be computed. Each audio stem may be automatically adjusted based on a stem-specific preference that a user may specify. View may adjust actor volume relative to the mean/variance that maintains a relative difference in volume levels between stems.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR OPTIMIZING THE LOW-FREQUENCY SOUND RENDITION OF AN AUDIO SIGNAL

A system and method for optimizing the low-frequency sound rendition of an audio signal, implementing variations in a plurality of parameters of the audio signal according to the volume level of the signal chosen by a user, in particular filtering or compression parameters, or parameters relating to the harmonics of the audio signal, while seeking to optimize the dynamics and the bandwidth of the audio signal according to the volume, in order to provide an optimal rendition to the user.

Display System Having An Audio Output Device

A display system includes a head-mounted display unit and a detachable speaker unit. The head-mounted display unit outputs visual content to a user and provides a visual pass-through of a real environment to the user. The detachable speaker unit is detachably coupleable to the head-mounted display unit for providing aural content to the user. At least one of the visual content or the aural content is changed according to a position of the detachable speaker unit relative to the head-mounted display unit.

Electronic device with embedded microchip

An electronic audio device has a microchip has embedded therein, circuitry for enhancing the sound outputted therefrom and which is associated, such as a radio, television, headphones, earbuds and the like.

Method and apparatus for providing a visual user interface for audio equalization
10877717 · 2020-12-29 · ·

A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided in order to present an intuitive visual user interface for audio equalization. In the context of a method includes defining at least two locations upon the visual user interface. Each location is associated with a predefined audio equalization characteristic. The method also causes first and second configurable elements to be provided by the visual user interface. Further, the method includes associating an audio equalization characteristic with the first configurable element based upon a location of the first configurable element relative to the at least two locations. The second configurable element provides a visual representation of the audio equalization characteristic based upon the location of the first configurable element.

Wooden or other dielectric capacitive touch interface and loudspeaker having same

Wireless-enabled loudspeaker includes a wooden capacitive touch user interface. The loudspeaker may comprise at least one electroacoustic transducer, a processor in communication with the at least one electroacoustic transducer, and a wooden exterior surface comprising a capacitive touch user interface that allows a user to control operation of the loudspeaker. The wooden exterior surface acts a dielectric for the capacitive touch user interface. The loudspeaker may comprise a wireless transceiver circuit for receiving and transmitting wireless communication signals via a wireless network. The wireless transceiver circuit may receive wirelessly audio content from streaming audio content servers that are connected to the Internet. The capacitive touch user interface comprises a plurality of user control icons etched in the wooden exterior surface, and a plurality of capacitive sense electrodes located under the wooden exterior surface.
