Cloth-silicone nursing pad assembly
10413452 · 2019-09-17 ·

A nursing pad assembly is described, combining adherence and water resistant advantages of silicone lamina with the comfort and absorption of an attached cloth layer. In particular, a nipple contact area passes through an aperture in the silicone lamina. In one embodiment the cloth layer includes at least three sub-layers engineered for toweling, wicking/absorption, and water resistant properties, respectively.

Particles made of a viscoelastic medium, are injectable gel particles, and have a size, when subjected to a physiological salt solution, in the range of from 1 to 5 mm. The particles are useful in a soft tissue augmentation implant. The implant includes particles of a viscoelastic medium, wherein a major volume of the particles are injectable gel particles The implant is useful in a method of soft tissue augmentation in a mammal, including man, comprising subepidermal administration at a site in said mammal where soft tissue augmentation is desirable, of an implant.

Shaped nonwoven

A through-air bonded nonwoven fabric comprises a first surface and a second surface and a visually discernible pattern of three-dimensional features on one of the first or second surfaces. Each of the three-dimensional features define a microzone comprising a first region and a second region. The first and second regions have a difference in values for an intensive property, wherein in at least one of the microzones, the first region exhibits a Contact Angle of greater than 90 degrees, as measured by the Contact Angle Test Method, and wherein the second region exhibits a Time to Wick of less than 10 seconds, as measured by the Time to Wick Test Method.

PEEL AND PLACE DRESSING FOR NEGATIVE-PRESSURE TREATMENT
20190231601 · 2019-08-01 ·

A dressing for treating a tissue site with negative pressure may comprise a tissue interface comprising a three-dimensional textile of polyester fibers and a polymer coating on the polyester fibers. In some examples, the three-dimensional textile may be a three-dimensional weave of polyester fibers, and the polymer coating may be hydrophobic. In more particular embodiments, the polymer coating may be silicone or polyethylene, for example. The dressing may additionally include a drape disposed over the tissue interface and a port fluidly coupled to the tissue interface through the drape. The tissue interface may be applied over a tissue site, and therapeutic levels of negative pressure may be applied to the tissue site through the tissue interface.
