Tissue treatment systems and methods having a porous substrate with a compressed region and an expanded region
A system for treating a tissue site of a patient includes a dressing filler adapted to be positioned at the tissue site. The dressing filler includes a porous substrate having at least one compressed region and at least one expanded region. The compressed region of the porous substrate is held in a compressed state by a first coating capable of dissolving in the presence of a fluid, and the expanded region of the porous substrate is held in an expanded state by a second coating.

Biodegradable absorbent articles
A biodegradable, disposable absorbent article, such as a diaper, having a non-woven inner layer of natural fibers and a non-woven outer layer of natural fibers and a treatment applied to at least one surface thereof. The treatment includes at least one compound selected from the group consisting of waxes, urethanes, silicones, fluorocarbons, and non-fluorochemical repellents. The absorbent article has a core of natural fibers or fibrous material, and optionally polyacrylate superabsorbent particles, positioned between the inner layer and the outer layer. The article may contain polylactic acid films between the layers.

DISPOSABLE BABY DIAPERS AND RELATED METHODS
Disclosed are natural baby products and related methods of use. Disposable baby hygiene products, particularly disposable baby hygiene products made with natural, sustainable, environmentally-responsible, and/or biodegradable materials include disposable baby diapers made with bamboo and other natural, sustainable, environmentally-responsible, and/or biodegradable materials and disposable baby swim diapers made with natural, sustainable, environmentally-responsible, and/or biodegradable materials.
Absorbent article
An absorbent article has a planar direction and a thickness direction. The absorbent article includes a volatile first functional component, a volatile second functional component, water-disintegrable microcapsules that contain the second functional component, and a solvent that keeps the second functional component contained inside the microcapsules. Between a liquid-permeable layer and an absorption layer, the absorbent article has functional composition coated regions that extend in the planar direction and that are coated with the functional composition, and has adhesive coated regions that extend in the planar direction and that are coated with an adhesive. The adhesive coated regions have an adhesive region that directly or indirectly joins the liquid-permeable payer and the absorption layer.

Infans Compost
The invention is a biodegradable, compostable thin cotton baby liner used with the cloth diaper system.
Nucleophile-Triggered Degradable Materials and Methods of Making and Using the Same
Degradable materials including the reaction product of an oxanorbornadiene crosslinker or derivative thereof and a multivalent nucleophile-terminated compound, wherein the reaction product is a degradable elastic solid capable of entraining cargo. Degradable materials include a polymeric and hyperbranched crosslinked material made with oxanorbornadiene linkage that can be activated for cleavage at a predetermined rate by addition of a nucleophile. Methods of making and using degradable materials are included.
